GAMING PHOTOGRAPHY-The Mysterious Darkness.

The Long Dark is the game I played the most this year, although I didn't play that many games, but without a doubt, this snowy forest is where I got most lost. In this adventure, there aren't many dangers: some wolves, a bear, moose, and if we're unlucky, snowstorms that will leave us in very poor health due to the extreme cold if we're not sheltered. Because no matter what clothes you wear, if there's a storm, death will find you. And what better way to show you what night is like in this hostile environment than in this new contest?

I have a save game where I didn't fully define my objective, but I did want to reach a certain place, and I never learned the map. However, I know that by traveling along the railway tracks, you can get from one place to another. Before heading out at night, I made sure I had everything I needed for a good adventure: very warm clothes, plenty of food, coffee to combat sleepiness, and light. Luckily, I have a lantern.

In The Long Dark, the night isn't usually very good for exploring because we'll miss many details, but the moon always looks incredible on clear nights.

The outlines of Milton, completely empty and abandoned by its people, evoke a sense of nostalgia for a world that is no more.

In this adventure of progressing in search of the cabin where the rifle is found, I had to spend nights outdoors. A torch to conserve lantern fuel is often a good ally. This ruined cabin has a kind of stove where we can make a fire to ward off the cold and cook a hot meal.

The vast, almost endless forest reveals nothing, allowing the imagination to run wild. If this were a game with a threat hunting you, it would be a very bad idea to be out in the open.

I threw my torch before it went out, and the atmosphere created by the shadows at night is a little frightening.

A small storm began to batter my wrecked cabin, but I managed to get through the night and continue my journey.

Things worsened when it was time to go out again after resting, eating, and drinking. Another storm was approaching, but where would the challenge be if I always stayed sheltered? So I went out with my lantern this time, since the torch goes out in storms.

I reached a kind of tower where I took a moment to rest and admire the darkness of the snowy night.

The storm stopped, and a few stars were visible in the sky.

But the best part of the game happened, and I finally saw the anomaly.

In The Long Dark, there's an anomaly where you see the Northern Lights, which give the town a bit of electricity.

The moon rose high in the sky, and I went out to chase it, not really knowing where it would lead me this time.

With my rifle in hand in case a wolf tried to attack me, the shadows of the forest played tricks on me, and I saw things that weren't really there.

The sky lit up, full of beautiful colors and shades. Color isn't something that abounds in this game, so when one of these nights comes along, it's best to appreciate the beauty.

I walked a little further until I came across a cabin where I could stay when night fell, and just as the colors suddenly appeared, they disappeared again and the night was as dark as ever, bringing this little trip to an end.

That dark blue sky does look beautiful with the lighting effect, speaking of lighting, I love the realism that light has in the game, if it looks fun
Great job on your screenshots, the nightlife of this game is amazing, thanks for sharing
