Summer at YAF

Time for a little summer update from YAF!

As you know, summer is the season when people travel, hang out with family, and spend less time browsing art fairs. From experience, we’ve learned it’s simply not the best time to organize events like ours. Which is fine — because we’re gearing up for a very busy and exciting second half of the year!

So what’s the plan right now?
We're shifting focus to something just as important: onboarding artists and creators to Hive. In the coming weeks, we’ll be working on a clear, simple video guide for new users explaining how Hive works and how to navigate the platform. The goal is to make it beginner-friendly, send it around individually, and help artists find their place in the community.

We’re also preparing a contest!
We’ll invite artists to post their work on Hive — and the Hive community will get to see it, vote, and pick their favorites. The winners will receive a free stand at one of our Targi Młodej Sztuki (Young Art Fair) events in the second half of the year.

We’re still fully committed to promoting Hive long-term. So far, we've built a solid foundation — people at our events have started hearing about it and getting curious. Now we need to plan onboarding in a way that makes people want to stay, not just post once and disappear.
