BeerSaturday W410: Enjoying a few beers in the company of friends in a new place in my city

Hello friends of Hive and the brewing community.
This week we reached challenge number 410 and I had the opportunity to go out with friends. We enjoyed some beers that were ice cold, just the way I like them.

We took advantage of the occasion and got to know a new place. I found the atmosphere pleasant, it was a place of privacy and the music was good. They also offer karaoke, although this time we did not have the chance to participate.

Our visit was somewhat improvised. One of those outings in which one does not have a fixed destination and ends up arriving at an unexpected place. And so it was.

Hola a los amigos de Hive y de la comunidad cervecera.
Esta semana llegamos al desafío número 410 y, precisamente, tuve la oportunidad de salir con amigos. Disfrutamos de unas cervezas que estaban bien heladas, justo como me agradan.
Aprovechamos la ocasión y conocimos un nuevo local. El ambiente me resultó agradable, se percibía un espacio de privacidad y la música era buena. También ofrecen karaoke, aunque en esta oportunidad no tuvimos el chance de participar.
Y es que nuestra visita fue algo improvisada. De esas salidas en las que uno no tiene un destino fijo y termina llegando a un lugar inesperado. Así fue.

Initially, we got together to attend a mock election that was held in my country. We all work for state-owned companies; my colleagues at Corporación Eléctrica and I at the Mayor's Office of the municipality, so we had to attend.

Luckily, and because of my work in communications, we were attended first and then they opened access to the public. We were outside the voting center reporting and, after the intense sun, we decided to cool off.

In my city, Maturin, the weather is very changeable. There can be a very sunny day and, in a matter of minutes, a torrential downpour. That is characteristic of Maturín, and it doesn't only rain during the corresponding season; here it can rain any day and then it can be very sunny.

Inicialmente, nos reunimos para asistir a un simulacro de elecciones que se realizó en mi país. Todos trabajamos para empresas del estado; mis colegas en la Corporación Eléctrica y yo en la Alcaldía del municipio, así que debíamos asistir.
Por suerte, y por mi trabajo en comunicaciones, nos atendieron primero y luego abrieron el acceso al público. Estuvimos afuera del centro de votación haciendo el reporte y, después del intenso sol, decidimos refrescarnos.
En mi ciudad, Maturín, el clima es muy cambiante. Puede haber un día muy soleado y, en cuestión de minutos, cae un aguacero torrencial. Eso es característico de Maturín, y no solo llueve en la temporada correspondiente; aquí puede llover cualquier día y luego hacer un sol intenso.

So, having fulfilled our civic duty, we went to do some shopping and just on the way we passed by this store. My companions had already been there, because they live nearby, in the same area.

So, already in the evening, they know what it is like to enjoy karaoke. Those who like to smoke, which is not my case, can go out and do it outside, at some small tables they have, and the car was sheltered.

We were able to laugh for a while and talk about the new ventures that have emerged and how, in the midst of so many economic sanctions and constant inflation, Venezuelans are resilient, always inventing something and solving honestly how to bring sustenance to their homes.

Así que, habiendo cumplido nuestro deber cívico, fuimos a realizar algunas compras y justo en la vía pasamos por este local. Mis compañeras ya habían ido, porque viven cerca, en la misma zona.
Así que, ya en la noche, saben lo que es disfrutar del karaoke. Quien gusta de fumar, que no es mi caso, puede salir y hacerlo afuera, en unas mesitas que tienen, y el carro estaba resguardado.
Pudimos reír un rato y conversar sobre los nuevos emprendimientos que han surgido y cómo, en medio de tantas sanciones económicas y la inflación constante, el venezolano es resiliente, siempre inventa algo y resuelve de forma honesta cómo llevar el sustento a su hogar.

I took the opportunity to wear my espadrilles. This is a typical footwear of my country, specifically from the Venezuelan plains, so I wore them with pride as part of our valuable cultural heritage.

One beer, then another, and so on, until we felt it was enough. We should not overdo it, especially when it is our turn to drive. Luckily, the driver of the day does not drink and, out of politeness, accompanied us with a non-alcoholic beverage.

I have noticed that, almost every time we plan an outing, something unexpected happens, not everyone is able to attend and, many times, because the whole group is not there, we end up not meeting. So every time this kind of outing happens, I take advantage of it.

Aproveché para lucir mis alpargatas. Este es un calzado propio de mi país, específicamente de los llanos venezolanos, así que las llevaba con orgullo como parte de nuestro valioso patrimonio cultural.
Una cerveza, luego otra, y así fueron varias, hasta que sentimos que era suficiente. No hay que excederse, y menos cuando nos toca conducir. Por suerte, el conductor del día no bebe y, por educación, nos acompañó con una bebida sin alcohol.
He notado que, casi siempre que planificamos una salida, ocurre algún imprevisto, no todos pueden asistir y, muchas veces, por no estar todo el grupo, terminamos sin reunirnos. Así que cada vez que se dan este tipo de salidas, yo las aprovecho.

I like this beer because it is light and does not make you dizzy as fast and does not produce that feeling of fullness that I have experienced with others. You can drink several and refresh yourself without losing your bearings, at least if consumed in moderation.

This was a nice unplanned meeting. We were able to talk for a while and share with friends, refresh ourselves with some Polar Light and, at the same time, get to know a new place in my city to which we will surely return. In this opportunity I take the opportunity to invite my friend @nathyortiz to tell us her anecdotes with this drink.

Esta cerveza me gusta porque es ligera y no marea tan rápido ni produce esa sensación de llenura que he experimentado con otras. Puedes tomar varias y refrescarte sin perder la orientación, al menos si se consume con moderación.
Esta fue una grata reunión no planificada. Pudimos conversar un rato y compartir entre amigos, refrescarnos con unas Polar Light y, a su vez, conocer un nuevo local en mi ciudad al que seguramente volveremos. En esta oportunidad aprovecho de invitar a mi amiga @nathyortiz para que nos cuente sus anecdotas con esta bebida.
