This post is my entry for the Landscape Photography contest hosted by @photofeed. If you'd like to participate, please read and follow the rules

Ulee Lheue, located at the western tip of Banda Aceh, is a vital port connecting mainland Aceh with Weh Island, Sabang. In the photo I'm sharing, a row of fast boats like the Express Bahari are neatly docked at the pier, ready to transport tourists and locals to the beauty of Sabang. The tranquil harbor atmosphere, clear blue waters, and rows of pine trees along the shoreline add to the area's appeal as a tourist destination and a destination for maritime economic activity.

Besides serving as a ferry port, Ulee Lheue also holds a long history and the resilience of the Acehnese people. Formerly devastated by the 2004 tsunami, this area has resurfaced with a new, more organized look. Modern docking facilities, comfortable waiting areas, and stunning ocean views make Ulee Lheue a symbol of the revival and hope of the Acehnese people.

Now, Ulee Lheue is known not only as a ferry port but also as a popular beach destination. Many residents and tourists come to enjoy the sunset on the western horizon while watching ships sail back and forth on the blue sea. With its combination of natural beauty, historical significance, and economic activity, Ulee Lheue has become a proud icon of Greater Aceh, a symbol that lives on in the hearts of the people.
