Good morning, friends!
This week has been a bit hectic, with a few tasks to complete before my long-awaited vacation.
For a few days now, my car's driver's side door hasn't been unlocking, and last week I had to take it to an auto electrician's workshop that was recommended to me.
As the repair shop is close to my house, after leaving the car there the day before the repair was scheduled, I took the opportunity to walk home.
The distance did me a lot of good, as it's just over 4 kilometers. Every time I take the opportunity to walk, it's always a beneficial experience! I don't spend fuel or money on Uber, I end up doing low-intensity physical exercise, which is good for my mobility, and I also have the opportunity to get to know places and corners.
I was walking down a tree-lined street when suddenly, on my left, I saw a green mural with some writing that said, “Only the heart can beat.” The phrase was from a campaign against domestic violence and violence in general. But that small wall continued to give rise to trees and insects that looked like something out of a science fiction movie.
Suddenly, the trees were replaced by buildings, which were piled up in similar shapes, just like cities... A city like so many others. In that city, a woman with her eyes closed is gently caressed on the back of her neck by a light breeze... Holding in her hands a sunflower that lets a few petals escape.
As if in a dream, a giant and imposing figure emerges in the background... Oblivious to the woman's dream, it displays a small man or alien, without a visible face, dressed in a space explorer's suit, but with a pattern more reminiscent of pajamas. Is this another reference to dreams?
Instead of a head, this enormous figure has, at the top of its shoulders, an amalgam of elongated beings, which intertwine to form a large ball that could even be its brain or consciousness...
Joining this piece with the one on the wall at 180º, we find a piece that is somewhat abstract, combining the image of the force of nature, in which I can see tall trees, reaching high into the sky, giving rise to a stormy sea of branches that serve as a swing with a fantastic view of the countryside... Where a creature, which could even be a hybrid between a man and a rabbit, or a being with rabbit ears and a head similar to the one described above, leaves it looking a little absorbed in the task of rocking the box on its lap... The box, which has three holes that could even be for someone inside to explore the world, lets out a breath through the largest hole... as if it were a prayer or a song!
At the bottom of the third part of this fantastic mural, there is a pattern that immediately caught my attention!!!! I love everything related to beehives, how about you?

Apenas o coração pode bater
Bom dia amigos!
Esta semana tem sido um pouco atribulada, com algumas tarefas a cumprir, antes das tão desejadas férias.
Já há uns dias, que o meu carro, não estava a destrancar a porta do lado do condutor, e na semana anterior tive que o deixar numa oficina de um electricista de automóveis que me recomendaram.
Como a oficina fica perto da minha casa, depois de ter deixado o carro no dia anterior ao agendamento da reparação, aproveitei para regressar a casa a pé.
A distância fez-me muito bem, pois são apenas pouco mais de 4 quilômetros. Cada vez que eu aproveito para andar a pé, é sempre uma experiência que é vantajosa! Não gasto combustível, ou dinheiro para o uber, acabo por fazer exercício físico de baixa intensidade, o que é bom para a minha mobilidade, e ainda tenho oportunidade de conhecer locais e recantos.
Estava a descer uma rua ladeada por árvores, quando de repente, e à minha esquerda comecei a ver um mural verde, com algumas inscrições que dizia "Apenas o coração pode bater". A frase era de uma campanha contra a violência doméstica e contra a violência em geral. Mas esse pequeno muro continuava dando origem a árvores e insectos que pareciam saídos de um filme de ficção científica.
Como que subitamente, as árvores eram substituídas por prédios, que se amontoavam, de formas semelhantes, tal como as cidades... Uma cidade como tantas outras. Nessa cidade, uma mulher de olhos fechados é acariciada gentilmente na nuca por uma leve brisa... Segurando nas suas mãos uma flor de girasol que deixa escapar algumas pétalas.
Como se de um sonho se tratasse, uma figura gingante e imponente, emerge ao fundo... Alheia ao sonho da mulher, ostentando um pequeno homem ou extra-terrestre, sem uma cara visível, vestido de um fato de explorador espacial, mas como um padrão que mais faz lembrar um pijama. Será mais uma referência aos sonhos?
Essa enorme figura, em vez de cabeça, apresenta ao cimo dos seus ombros, uma amálgama de seres alongados, e que de forma embricada formam como que um novelo grande que poderá até ser o seu cérebro ou consciência...
A unir esta peça com a do muro que está a 180º encontramos uma peça um pouco para o abstrato, que junta a imagem da força da natureza, em que eu consigo ver as árvores de copas altas, a tocarem bem no alto, a darem origem a um mar agitado de ramos que servem para um baloiço com uma vista fantástica para o campo... Onde uma criatura, que até poderia ser um hibrido entre um homem e um coelho, ou então um ser com orelhas de coelho, e com uma cabeça semelhante à anteriormente descrita o deixa com um ar um pouco absorto na tarefa de embalar a caixa que tem ao seu colo... A caixa, que tem três orifícios que até poderiam ser para alguém de lá de dentro explorar o mundo, deixa escapar pelo orifício maior um sopro... como que uma oração ou cântico se trata-se!
No fundo da terceira parte deste mural fantástico, há um padrão que me chamou desde logo a atenção!!!! Adoro tudo o que está relacionado com colmeias, e vocês?
