Anime Tracks Thursday Contest
Imagine you're the DJ and I'm your audience.
I'm pretty sure you've heard a lot of anime songs or are you always skipping the OST? 😅 Hopefully, you still listen to the songs every now and then because they're gems!
For the theme:
It should be an anime song, of course. Old or new, anything is fine as long as it suits with the theme.
Have you watched slice-of-life animes? Or if you haven't, maybe you can imagine.
Think of summer rain. Flowers blooming. Summer heat. The MC riding a bicycle to work.
You can make up your own or reference a scene from an anime.
What would be the perfect song that could be used as a background for that kind of scene?

With these mentioned it immediately reminded me of the heartwarming opening song from Skip and Loafer! I really like that despite that it doesn't have that upbeat or too boppy tune, still it makes me wanna do a little happy dance...just like what Shima and Mitsumi dance in their opening visuals. Their opening song emanates so much warm energy that it made me feel like it's summer again despite that we're already in the rainy season here >v<!
It's also rainy here, and listening to this song on the background just fits perfectly to the summer rain weather.

Well this scenario makes me think of an anime which I have strongly liked in the past and the songs were og. That would be the Suzume theme song, could not understand a single word but I could feel my emotions through this song. To be honest I feel this soundtrack would be perfect for the scenario.
Now this one feels like summer rain...I remember making its first lines my ringtone ahahaha, but the part that I really like in this song is the nande nai teru no...—it's like that was the climax of this song and it sounds so good >v<!

When I listen to the song Secret Base, I remember my childhood in the summer and my lost friend. This song from the anime Anohana is really emotional. The story revolves around six friends - Jintan, Menma, Anaru, Yukiatsu, Tsuruko and Poppo. This song revolves around their summer memories, friendship and the lost Menma. This song is not just a melody, but a feeling of summer. When I listen to this song, I feel like I have gone to summer. I like the song very much.
Ahhhh the tune sounds cute! I especially like the first lines of this song because it made me feel like I was on the last day of summer. It sounds sad because I heard sayonara a lot, so maybe it's somehow about goodbye—but somehow it sounds hopeful. I haven't watched Anohana, but this song is somewhat familiar to me. I don't but it seems like I already heard of this before :)

As I'm a beginner I have not watched lots of anime but only a few. Recently I have watched the anime Orange they really have relaxing song which is going to be a good match for the storyline you have described.
Never know about this song, but I think I know the anime.
I can imagine this song for spring, but this is also just as relaxing fit for summer. 🙂
