Hello, Ladies of Hive, Welcome to 2026! 🎉

A new year has begun, and before this door opened, some doors had to be closed to wrap up the year 2025 properly.

Some people say that 2026 is just another new day to begin, but for me, it's a crossover to something bigger and better, and when taking that action, it is inappropriate to be with heavy loads or unnecessary things that wouldn't bring positive results. Then comes reflection.

Reflections is one thing I don't miss, which I practice at intervals throughout the year. Reflecting on the 12-month journey plunges me into a deeper contemplation, which reveals little things I may have overlooked or neglected.

Recognising and rejoicing over little wins is something I have learned to do, and learning from the goals I couldn't achieve during the year, ending them with the strategy that was set and taking them as new goals with a new strategy, not the same as before, for a better result in the new year.

It feels better that way, having the main goal in mind, but with a new strategy to try new ways for positive results.

Expressing gratitude for the journey and growth so far, despite the hard times, is a great relief and a key to more blessings and open doors; this can't be missed.

Decluttering my space and mind, reconciling pending issues with people involved, is something I can't leave out. It has worked for me in previous years, because I can't carry a burden into a new year; it's not healthy at all.

I always love to step into a new year with a clean and open mind for a fresh start to attract the good things of life and be intentional with my actions.

Also, not everyone I met in 2025 will continue with me in 2026. Some of them were not healthy for me; they were draining, and so keeping them close isn't necessary.

All these have become a tradition that I practice to be prepared for a new year with a clear mind, ready to explore and create more.

Lastly, to prepare myself spiritually, I love to spend the crossover night in church, attending the Holy Mass, praying, burning incense and handing over the new year and my intentions to God to be with me throughout the journey.

This completes the practices for opening the new door of a new year.
