Street Art Contest #384 / Cruz Salmerón Acosta
💕Welcome to My blog💕

Happy Monday to the talented members of the great Streetart community. I wish all users the best. It's wonderful to participate in week 283 of the CCC Street Mural Contest This week I'm showcasing a mural I found in the Murales City Gallery, located in the historic center of Cumaná. It's a complete seascape with all its elements, featuring the poet and writer Cruz Salmerón Acosta, who was born on the Araya Peninsula in Manicuare, Sucre, Venezuela (1892). This mural, painted on the old houses by the artists Dimas.art and noriham, depicts elements such as fishermen, seagulls, palm trees, pelicans, and the author of his famous poem "Azul" (Blue), including only the first stanza: "Blue of that distant summit towards which my thoughts fly beneath the blue peace of the morning, a color that reveals so many things to me." He has left a great legacy in the culture of Sucre. Until the next adventure, friends.

So beautiful wall and tribute to this author. @hylene74 had already presented it in her post The Poet of Martyrdom, but it deserved a few more photos, especially of the pelican.
Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.

Ah cool, it's true that the Hive community seems quite large in Venezuela. In Montreal, I don't know many people on that platform.
