Qurator's Photo Quest | Wings
This week's Photo Quest | Wings I will be presenting to you the "Wings of Vultures" from my Africa Safari Tours there I encounter the many species of Vultures now we may think these large birds are dirty gruesome scavenging birds but honestly these scavengers are known as nature's clean-up crew known for eating the carcasses of dead animals preventing the spread of dangerous diseases like rabies and anthrax well someone has to do it isn't that so nice of them.

These Vultures have the most strongest stomach acids allowing them to eat the most rotting meat killing the most harmful bacteria's allowing a safer ecosystem and having a powerful eyesight and sense of smell they can spot dead animals from miles away.

What really amazes me is the wingspan of these Vultures seeing them coming in to land is like looking at a B52 Bomber coming in for landing there wingspan can range from 1.6 meters to over 3.3 meters depending on the species.
