This Week’s Photo Quest: Macro I decided to go Cactuses why because I find these plants to be fascinating and photogenic mainly because of there wonderful textures and patterns they are so filled with intricate details and striking geometry which makes these plants feel alive as if they were little aliens.

The one big reason cactuses make such a great macro subject is because of their remarkable structure from their tightly packed spines and their tiny hair like needles they look mesmerizing under a macro lens transforming them into an almost sculpture of nature.

And why not throw in a beautiful Goddess Lily known to be the flower of Buddhism enduring all the beauty and power.
