When you dream money.. LOH#246
Howdy, Ladies of hive! I hope your week has been fabulous. I welcome you all to my blogš.
1ļøā£ Belief in omens exists all around the world. While some are common across cultures such as black cats or shooting stars, others feel more personal. Have you experienced something that felt just like a sign?
Yes I have experienced something that felt like a sign. For the longest time, I have always been scared of dreams; the sleep dreams. Maybe it's because I have grown up being told that what you dream in your sleep turn out the opposite in real life. Like in our culture, we believe that dreaming of a wedding or eating meat in your dream means death in the real world; a happy dream equals to something bad. I hope you can see my fear for dreaming.
Nobody ever told me that dreams can just be signs, positive signs. And what you dream, or fragments of it can be indications of a blessing in real life. To be honest I always give thanks whenever I don't recall my dream. That means no stressing over life. But something changed.
Two weeks back, I had this dream, a very vivid one. The characters were all people I know. The wierd thing was, you know how you wake up from a dream and it just cuts off, this one didn't.
I had dreamt that I had travelled to Tanzania, with a cousin, I had no passport with me. I know someone from home who works in Tanzania, I met him in that dream too. In that visit, their authorities discovered I had no passport, so now I had to be arrested. But my cousin wouldn't let that happen. The option at hand was to leave the country. The fare was a hundred thousands that I didn't have.
I woke up from my dream to use the bathroom. Getting back into bed, I was eager to know how the dream would end. Trust me, the dream continued.
My cousin made a phonecall to someone asking for the money. The money came. She instructed me we make a run for the train station. I had a heavy backpack bag so she outdid me. I got lost and found myself in a boatyard where people were being smuggled out. My grandpa led the operation. I knew that meant trouble for me. Before he could spot me, my cousin came back for me and led me to the train station just in the nick of time.
I woke up and shook my head at the dream. It was so vivid. Yet it didn't feel symbolic at that moment. But later that day, a client (we had represented in court and won) came by the office. He had come to collect the fruits of his judgment. On the way out, he left me a tip.
