Hello, friends of the #ShadowHunters community, thanks to our friend @melinda010100 for inviting us to this initiative in her Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest – Round 413.

There is something curious these days: electricity hardly shows up, but the poles are still there, firm, crossing the sky and casting their shadow on the asphalt as if nothing were missing.

Walking along, I came across that long and perfectly defined drawing on the hot street.
The cables, stretched like tight lines, seemed to promise an energy that does not always arrive, but the sun, that one always punctual, made sure to remind us of its presence by marking every detail on the ground.

It is ironic, the power may be missing, the light bulbs may go out, but the shadow of the pole never fails. It does not need voltage, it does not depend on maintenance, it does not understand blackouts. As long as there is natural light, it will be there, punctual and silent, fulfilling better than the service it represents.

Sometimes I think these shadows are the most efficient version of the system, they do not illuminate, but at least they do not leave us completely in the dark, they draw on the asphalt a kind of electrical map that works only with sun and patience.

Sombras que sí cumplen horario

Hola, amigos de la comunidad #ShadowHunters, gracias a la amiga @melinda010100 por convocarnos a esta iniciativa en su Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest-Round 413.

Hay algo curioso en estos días: la electricidad casi no aparece, pero los postes siguen ahí, firmes, atravesando el cielo y proyectando su sombra sobre el asfalto como si nada faltara.

Caminando, me encontré con ese dibujo largo y perfectamente definido sobre la calle caliente. Los cables, estirados como líneas tensas, parecían prometer una energía que no siempre llega, pero el sol, ese sí puntual, se encargaba de recordarnos su presencia marcando cada detalle en el suelo.

Es irónico, puede faltar la corriente, pueden apagarse las bombillas, pero la sombra del poste nunca falla. No necesita voltaje, no depende de mantenimiento, no entiende de apagones. Mientras haya luz natural, ahí estará, puntual y silenciosa, cumpliendo mejor que el servicio que representa.

A veces pienso que estas sombras son la versión más eficiente del sistema, no iluminan, pero al menos no nos dejan a oscuras del todo, nos dibujan en el asfalto una especie de mapa eléctrico que funciona únicamente con sol y paciencia.
