What Light Leaves on the Ground. Entry for Shadow Hunters SMASH Contest-round 418 [EN/ES]

Hello #ShadowHunters community,
Once again I’m taking part in this shadows contest, this time in round #418.

Some shapes are first discovered in silence.

In a quiet space, surrounded by grass, grow some ornamental palm trees whose name I do not know, yet their presence feels light, almost delicate. Their leaves open as if searching for the sun, and when they move with the wind, they seem to draw in the air without making a sound.

This time, I did not look up, but down.
The sun was strong, and the palms cast their shadows over the grass with surprising precision. The leaves repeated themselves in fine lines, creating natural patterns that seemed intentional, as if the light had purpose. There was no reflection this time, only form translated into shadow.

I paused to observe how those shapes changed gently with the movement of the wind. Nothing was completely still. Even in stillness, there was life.
I thought about how we often do not see things directly, but through what they project. And in that play between light and form, the landscape finds another way to reveal itself—more subtle, more quiet.

Lo que la luz deja en el suelo

Hola comunidad de #ShadowHunters,
Una vez más participo en este concurso de sombras, esta vez en la ronda #418.

Algunas formas se descubren primero en silencio.

En un espacio tranquilo, rodeado de césped, crecen unas palmas ornamentales cuyo nombre desconozco, pero cuya presencia se siente ligera, casi delicada. Sus hojas se abren como si buscaran el sol, y al moverse con el viento parecen dibujar el aire sin hacer ruido.
Esta vez no miré hacia arriba, sino hacia el suelo.

El sol caía con fuerza y las palmas proyectaban sus sombras sobre el césped con una precisión sorprendente. Las hojas se repetían en líneas finas, creando patrones naturales que parecían pensados, como si la luz tuviera intención. No había reflejo esta vez, solo la forma traducida en sombra.

Me detuve a observar cómo esas figuras cambiaban suavemente con el movimiento del viento. Nada estaba completamente inmóvil. Incluso en la quietud, había vida.

Pensé en cómo muchas veces no vemos las cosas directamente, sino a través de lo que proyectan. Y en ese juego entre luz y forma, el paisaje encuentra otra manera de mostrarse, más sutil, más callada.
