Hola comunidad @ladiesofhive nuevamente participo en este concurso y lo hago con mucho entusiasmo.

La persona que se queda.

Para esta semana quería compartir algo diferente, un pensamiento sobre la persona que ha estado más cerca de mí durante el último año, esa que ha estado a mi lado en los días fáciles y en los días difíciles.

No puedo mostrar una foto, pero puedo hablar de cómo se siente su presencia. Está en los mensajes que me alegran el día, en las conversaciones que duran horas, en los silencios que no incomodan, y en los momentos en que uno necesita simplemente un hombro, aunque sea virtual.

Con esa persona he aprendido que acompañar no es solo estar, sino escuchar, reír, recordar y a veces llorar juntos. Me ha enseñado que la confianza se construye con pequeñas acciones, no con grandes palabras. Es alguien que celebra mis aciertos y comparte mis tropiezos, sin juicios, con paciencia.

Y hablando de experiencias recientes, recuerdo un momento que me hizo reír mucho, un día nos conectamos para hablar y de repente empezamos a imitar a los personajes de un programa que ambos amamos, haciendo voces ridículas y gestos exagerados. Fue absurdo, vergonzoso en cualquier otro contexto, pero increíblemente divertido para nosotros. Ese pequeño episodio me recordó que la felicidad también está hecha de complicidades simples y momentos inesperados.

Para mí, la verdadera compañía no siempre se puede capturar en una imagen. A veces se siente, se recuerda y se guarda en el corazón.

The One Who Stays

For this week, I wanted to share something different, a thought about the person who has been closest to me over the past year, the one who has been by my side on easy days and on difficult days.

I can’t show a photo, but I can talk about how their presence feels. It’s in the messages that brighten my day, in the conversations that last for hours, in the silences that don’t bother, and in the moments when you just need a shoulder, even if it’s virtual.

With that person, I’ve learned that accompanying someone is not just being there, but listening, laughing, remembering, and sometimes crying together. They have taught me that trust is built with small actions, not big words. It’s someone who celebrates my successes and shares my stumbles, without judgment, with patience.

And speaking of recent experiences, I remember a moment that made me laugh a lot: one day we connected to talk and suddenly we started imitating characters from a show we both love, making ridiculous voices and exaggerated gestures. It was absurd, embarrassing in any other context, but incredibly fun for us. That little episode reminded me that happiness is also made of simple complicities and unexpected moments.

For me, true companionship can’t always be captured in an image. Sometimes it is felt, remembered, and kept in the heart.
