AN ACT OF KINDNESS I WOULD NEVER FORGET.

Little act of kindness can create a unforgettable memory to a stranger, kindness should be an attribute humans should show to each other always, because life is already hard and complex to people, so you shouldn't treat them unfair.
The world has turn really dark that most persons believe an act of kindness can also be a huge regret tomorrow, but regardless we shouldn't stop being kind.
Kindness Is a great virtue and should be embraced by all of us because it's what makes the world a better place.

This week prompt, we are asked if a stranger have been kind to us and my response is a YES, a stranger have been so nice to me that I thought she was an Angel from heaven. And here's my story.

I just finished secondary school, wrote jamb and was meant to travel to a distance state to write an exam in the university, I traveled from Port Harcourt to Abia State, looking very naive and little, this was like 7years ago, I was still a teenager.
Although we were had a group in my neighborhood, we were all going for same exam, so going wasn't a difficult task for me going was really fun , we booked a bus that took us from Rivers State to Abia State , which was about a 6 hours ride, so we left very early.

When we all got the university, we were all excited, we saw our fellow aspirants walking with files and all waiting for their time of the examination.
On arriving there , I met alot of people, we all sat together reading, just then a girl walked to me and she said her name was Amaranna, I turned and complimented her name and told her she was beautiful, we introduced ourselves and had a brief chat, she gave me a card after the chat and told me to call her whenever I have a question or I need help around the school since I was an aspirant and also new to the environment .
We concluded our chats and I kept the card in my file.

Few hours after she left , everyone that came with me have written their exams, but mine was shifted to the next day , after coming from Port Hacourt, which was a 6hours ride, plus the exam time was 7:00am , so I wasn't going to meet up the next day .
The bus that was waiting for us was and everyone was about to leave , I told them I wasn't going with them, my mom kept calling that I should come home and re-write in another institution or wait till next year.

I told her, I knew where to stay and that I needed few minutes to make a call, immediately I called Amaranna and she showed up like an Angel.
She spoke to my mom, dad and sisters, assuring them that I was safe, the bus drivers took her details and that was how she accommodated me, took care of like her younger sister all night, when I decided to eat at a restaurant, so I don't be a burden to her, she vehemently refused and said we were going to cook together if I don't trust her.
We cooked together, prayed together and the next morning she took me to my exam hall, waited until I finished, carried me to a park and made sure I got a bus heading back to Port Harcourt and called my parents to let them know I was coming.
She was really an angel, I never knew I would need her help even when she handed a card to me.

That act of kindness made us really close, even when I finally got admission, she was the first to inform me and her kindness didn't stop there, she accomdated me for few days until I was done with my first year clearance and assigned a hostel.
And also she introduced me to an amazing family in school, which was a church community.

I can never forget this act of kindness, because it also taught me to be kind and I also repeated same kindness to someone else before graduating.
I did it gladly, because I felt it was a payback for a kindness that was shown to me too

It's really good to embrace kindness, kindness is an act of love, it's a great virtue.
You don't need to own the world to be kind, just a warm greeting, smile , getting lunch for a colleagues or paying someone's transportation money is enough.
Kindness is a virtue and with kindness the world will be a better place for all of us.
