First half of the day

Did not listen to all I have to say but what I was able to watch was very interesting. We had a guy André from Microsoft talking about blockchain, Web 1 to Web 4, AI agents (a topic I have to deal with since 3 years) -very good thoughts I did not all agree with but a lovely discussion took place in a panel with @lordbutterfly @detlev @masterswatch later on.

Make sure Andre gets an Hive account today please to discuss.

An OG talking about what Hive is

@roelandp explains the Hive right now - was maybe new for people not here since the beginning and great discussion and input by the audience as well what Hive is about and what needs to be done in terms of making access easier, more marketing, more sales etc. - a Dutch guy that is THE event and Hivefest expert and one of the faces for this blockchain (in my view we need more like him!).

Join it - it is absolutely great

Also kudos to @rivalzzz @louis88 for the tech part (video and audio) - really good and easy to follow.

And sorry I might forgot to mention some great speaker slots from the morning - of course I wanna see the Freechain movie by @lordbutterfly soon. Looking also forward to see @sorin.cristescu talking, a great guy with in-depth knowledge about blockchain, politics and government things.

Here the timetable for you guys - it is running some hours still today plus tomorrow (sad I miss #Beersaturday and a city trip tomorrow).

btw @sorin.cristescu you mentioned marketing is easier as sales - I do not entirely agree given I did both since ages - it is different - marketing is easier to implement, to win institutions / companies etc takes more time and personal convincing talks though I agree (which is sales then)

Totally agree blogging is nice but not key fro success e.g. on Hive.

Interesting by @michaelreischer - good one but please no own tokens (too many out there with no value already even all claim to have one) agree with Michael to get the clubs and leagues and fans here, tried sports stuff in early days (first was World Cup contests soccer on Hive) - I supported Berlin Rebels a bit - the success depends on content/acceptance of whales though to be honest. If they think fans post shit content they could flag and people are leaving - sounds not positive but i know how it is on Hive.

Agree with André again on usage of a token or whatver that makes people buy (easily done on Hive-Engine but as said too many tokens out there - needs education why this token really is different and better per use case).

Again André is right - as written and suggested years ago - it is all about use cases (NFT ok might be an option).

On Hive many think we have use cases - but Rally Car sponsoring is no use case and is not bringing anyone on the chain. The water wells in Nigeria are great BUT we lack marketing to spread this. Agree with André we need use cases for the ordinary population, something eveyone would love to use / buy.

@detlev - sorry for tagging you as André has no account - Costs for such a world record are the issue - however if we compare to our Rally Car costs why not worth a try - of course you need invest for a big success - and it needs to be focused on a REAL use case - hence I like the idea more and more now. Being part of a record awesome - the smart solution via Poland is cool - to be part of an NFT seems to attract certain communities that wanna be part of something or able to touch something and then own an NFT - true ownership of physical and digital assets combined is good - we need to make sure the value of the digital thing has a chance to increase in value - but did not see it yet or I missed a thing.

Second one with Canvas to Blockchain by scan QR code of a graphic - you own picture behind the picture - nice for people interested in such things - André mentioned Hologram and then QR code would be an additional security feature - is that real? Can hologram not be copied at all? Adding @reiseamateur who might know more here than me.

My take since ages - i would even get rid of that b logging / social media part or at least put it to layer 2 😉 - we need to grow by DApps, Use cases, Investors - social media is not our key

Having someone from Microsoft is cool even if some people won't like the company. They are big and even getting a few people from there on board would be good. Hive should be for everyone, even with its faults :)

True dat -I love his first talk and enjoyed / agreed on many points on panel discussion, especially in linking blockchain with AI agents in general towards web4 - have to re-think the NFT part though :-)
