Shadow Hunters Community SMASh Contest – Round #422

‎Hi Hive,

‎It's with great pleasure that I'm welcoming everyone to my blog today and I believe you're doing well and having a great start to the weekend.

‎This week’s Shadow Hunters Community SMASh Contest – Round 422 came to me in a very simple, unexpected way and right at home.

‎I had spent most of my day indoors since I have nowhere to go and no one called for my service. I don't usually go anywhere if it's not about work or something in important due to the cost of transportation and its being my usual routine.

‎The heat is very much in the afternoon, so I have to stepped out to get a bit of fresh air during the afternoon, and the sun was out in full force shinning. It was one of those bright, intense sunny moments where everything seems, bright, sharper and more alive.

‎Before anything else, I went to attend to my birds, making sure they were okay and had everything they needed and observed if the heat is disturbing them and which they are all doing fine. It’s a routine I take seriously, and in that moment, I wasn’t thinking about the contest at all. But sometimes, inspiration can come from anywhere and most especially when you least comes when you least looking for it.

‎Something suddenly caught my attention as I moved around. A shadow and not just any shadow, but one that stood out in a way I couldn’t ignore. It had this unique form and presence that made me pause for a moment. I looked at it again, and immediately, I knew this was my entry for this week shadow hunter's contest.

‎Without wasting much of my time, I took out my phone camera and captured the moment. It felt natural, almost like the shadow found me instead of me hunting for it. That’s one thing I have come to appreciate about this journey in the Shadow Hunters Community that you don’t always have to go far to find something special. Sometimes, it’s right there in your everyday life.

‎This entry feels personal because it reflects a normal day turned into a creative moment. It reminds me that beauty and inspiration can come from the simplest experiences, even while doing something as routine as taking care of my broiler chickens.

‎I’m glad I stepped outside today. Who knows? If I didn’t, I might have missed this moment completely.

‎Here’s to shadow hunter's community round 422 and a big thanks to @melinda010100
