LESSON IMPORTANT FOR CHILDREN. LOH#263.

Happy Monday Dear Ladies.... Hoping this new Week brings us Blessings and All Round Favour.

So When it comes to raising children or even just talking about the things we should teach them, I honestly feel like everything starts with two things, which is respect and patience, I know that people always mention education, confidence, courage, all those big motivational words, but if a child has respect and patience, every other lesson will just naturally fall into place.

Okay so let me explain it the way I see it,
Respect, for me, is something very deep, It is not just about greeting elders or saying “thank you” and “please.” Those things are good, but respect is bigger than that, Respect is how you treat people, how you talk to someone even when you are angry, how you understand that everyone deserves to be seen as human, see when a child learns respect early, they grow into adults who don’t look down on others, who don’t insult people anyhow, who don’t feel like life is a competition.

And the funny thing is, respect has a way of coming back to you, when you give it out, and somehow, the world gives it back, I always say this thing to myself, if you do good, you are doing it for yourself, and if you do bad, you are also doing it for yourself, because the energy you put into this life is the same energy that somehow finds its way back to you.

Now, let us talk about patience, this one is very important because life will always test you, no matter how smart you are, how beautiful you are, how connected you are, you will still need patience, there are times when things will not happen at the exact moment you want them to happen, and if a child is not taught patience, they will grow up frustrated, angry, and always rushing themselves and others.

Sometimes when I look around, I see people who are always comparing their lives to someone else’s, Social media will make you feel like you are not doing enough, like your life is too slow, but when you have patience, you understand that everybody’s journey is different, you know that your own time will come, and even when life is hard, patience gives you this calmness that helps you move forward without losing yourself.

So yes, if there is anything I believe we should teach children, it is how to respect others and how to be patient with life, these two things might look small, but they can shape a person’s attitude, their relationships, their decisions, and even how they handle success and failure, because at the end of the day, character is everything, and character is built from the simple lessons we learn young.

So, I say this , just raise children who are kind hearted , who treat others well, and who know that sometimes life takes time, With that, they will grow into adults that we can all be proud of.

Respect is also very important for children. From this important teaching, we will always have an awareness of mutual respect; in other words, before we want to be respected by others, we must first respect them.

You are right. Respect is reciprocal and children should be taught at an early stage how to respect people and treat them nicely. Above all, making them know the golden rule: do unto others the way you want to be treated.

Respect and Patience are both wonderful values to instil on our children. Respect does indeed have a very deep meaning, as it includes respect to all beings and our wonderful planet as well. I myself wish people were more respectful of others.
