I Just Love The Colour. LoH #248.

Hello everyone, Happy wonderful Sunday from this side, it's been a very tiring day for me , but somehow I'm glad to be home to see my kids , so without further ado , let me talk about the topic for this week. So if you open my wardrobe right now, the most dominant colour you will definitely see is black,like, see I am not even joking black everywhere, tops, gowns, skirts, trousers, even my slippers sef, so i did not plan it that way o, it just somehow happened to be like that over time , it is not like I woke up one day and said “From now on, I will only wear black.” Nah..... it's nothing like that, It is just that anytime i am picking out clothes, whether it is either online or in the market, I always catch myself saying, “This outfit would look better in black.” And the next thing you see me going for the black version.

See It is somehow funny because I don’t think I even noticed it at first until one of my friends came visiting like three days ago and opened my wardrobe. She was like, “Ahn ahn, treasureeeee, are you mourning somebody?” i just laughed and said, “No ooooooo, black is just my thing.” I like black somehow.

So I think for me, the colour black gives this cool kinda vibe, it just doesn't make me stand out too much I don’t know how to explain it, but I just feel comfortable when I wear black, You know those days when you are not in the mood to be noticed or you just want to blend in without looking like you are hiding......Yeah, that is when black comes in for me ,as in like it is like my comfort colour.

And there is this thing about black too, no matter the style , it always looks chic and fine, see You can just wear a very simple black gown, and people will still compliment you like you just walked out of a fashion shoot, you get . Meanwhile, it is just the colour doing it's magic, even when I go for events and I do not want to stress on what to wear, I just reach out for one of my black outfits and just like that I am good to go You can never go wrong with black, I swear.

Some people will say black is boring or that it is dull, but for me, it is not just about brightness at all, It is about how I feel in it, I love colours too o, do not get me wrong, I have few pieces in other colours here and there. But if you are looking for what dominates my wardrobe, it is just definitely black.

So no, it was not a conscious style decision or anything fancy like that , It is just what I have naturally grown into over time, I think it reflects my mood sometimes, and other times it just feels so right. That is the thing with clothes, sometimes they choose you before you even realise it.
