A great reason to show off the harvest! August is the time when a lot of delicious berries, fruits and vegetables ripen. My special pride this year is my blackberry bush. When I bought it, the advertisement said that the berries would be extraordinarily large. But who believes advertising today? I didn't believe it either.

However, it was a rare case when advertising turned out to be true. Magnificent large berries are not only very tasty and juicy, but also certainly beautiful. And although my harvest is not too abundant yet due to the fact that the shrub is very young, I am satisfied with the results.

Another leader of the August harvest is corn. I know, I know, it doesn't really help to maintain a slim figure. However, it happens once a year! I'm not going to refuse! Especially since I discovered a new recipe - cooking corn on the grill. Not that I didn't know about it before, but now I bought my own grill and I can feast on it as much as I want.

But my raspberry let me down. Bush is already three years old and I was hoping for an abundance of berries. But for some reason it didn't happen.

Your blackberries look absolutely magnificent! ✨ It's so rare for advertising to be true, so that's a great surprise. Sorry to hear about your raspberry bush, though. Hopefully, it will bounce back next year 🙏 Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos of your August harvest 💕
