Hoy he visto dos temas muy interesantes y quiero responder la siguiente pregunta:

Si pudieras rediseñar el mundo de una pequeña manera, ¿qué cambiarías?

Hay varias cosas que deberíamos cambiar, unas que requieren del esfuerzo colectivo y de intereses comunes. En cambio, hay otras que podemos hacer a nivel individual y que no exigen mucho de nosotros.

Intentaría cambiar la manera egoísta que habita en muchos de nosotros, la forma en que tratamos a la naturaleza, y el trato que se le da a ciertos grupos dentro de la sociedad, como las personas adultas mayores, las mujeres e incluso los niños.

Pero, si pudiera aportar un pequeño cambio, sería algo que toca la esencia de cómo nos relacionamos: haría que fuera imposible malinterpretar las intenciones de los demás.

Imagina un mundo donde, cuando alguien te dice algo, pudieras sentir instantáneamente si lo hace desde el cariño, el miedo, la confusión o la mala intención. Un pequeño "botón de empatía forzosa" que, antes de reaccionar con ira o dolor, te mostrara un destello de la vulnerabilidad de la otra persona.

Creo que la mayoría de nuestras pequeñas grandes tragedias diarias (discusiones sin sentido, silencios incómodos, rencores que se guardan) no provienen de la maldad, sino de la torpeza al expresarnos y al interpretar a los demás.

Sería un cambio mínimo a nivel técnico, pero colosal a nivel humano. Las discusiones se acabarían en segundos porque dirías: "Ah, no querías herirme, solo estabas agotado" . Y los momentos bonitos serían mucho más significativos, porque sabrías con certeza que ese "te quiero" era auténtico.

Me parece que si cambiamos la manera en que nos relacionamos y respetamos el criterio del otro, el mundo sería mucho mejor.

Si aplicáramos el tratar a los demás como queremos que nos traten, la vida sería mucho más bonita y placentera, y los seres humanos seríamos mucho mejores.

If you could redesign the world in one small way, what would you change?

There are several things we should change, some that require collective effort and shared interests. On the other hand, there are others that we can do individually and that don't demand much of us.

I would try to change the selfishness that resides in many of us, the way we treat nature, and the way certain groups within society are treated, such as the elderly, women, and even children.

But if I could make one small change, it would be something that touches the very essence of how we relate to one another: I would make it impossible to misinterpret other people's intentions.

Imagine a world where, when someone says something to you, you could instantly sense whether they are speaking from affection, fear, confusion, or ill intent. A small "forced empathy button" that, before you react with anger or hurt, would show you a glimpse of the other person's vulnerability.

I believe that most of our small but significant daily tragedies—pointless arguments, awkward silences, grudges we hold onto—don't stem from malice, but from our clumsiness in expressing ourselves and interpreting others.

It would be a minimal change on a technical level, but colossal on a human level. Arguments would end in seconds because you'd say, "Oh, you didn't mean to hurt me, you were just exhausted." And the beautiful moments would be much more meaningful because you'd know for sure that "I love you" was genuine.

I think that if we change the way we relate to each other and respect each other's opinions, the world would be a much better place.

If we practiced treating others as we want to be treated, life would be much more beautiful and enjoyable, and we humans would be much better people.
