CCC's Street Art Contest #255
Hello everyone,
This is my entry for CCC's Street Art Contest #255 hosted by @digi-me.
You’re warmly invited to join the contest—after all, the more, the merrier! Feel free to check this link for more information.
THE BUFALLO
I came across this piece of street art during my recent visit to Melaka. The buffalo looks so lifelike, as if it’s about to munch on the real green leaves in front of it. I believe the frame behind it tells a deeper story—one that reminds us of a time when buffaloes were essential to farmers, helping them with the hard work of plowing the fields.
It’s a true reflection of the past. Before modern machines like tractors became common, farming relied heavily on the strength of animals like the buffalo. I grew up in a farming family, and this brings back childhood memories of witnessing the dedication and effort put into that kind of work.
Buffaloes weren’t just used for plowing—they also played a big role in transporting heavy items. Back then, we even used them to travel to nearby towns, bringing goods along with us to sell at the market. If you owning a lot of buffalo long time ago , you are being consider as richman .
It's quite rare nowadays to see people keeping buffaloes, but in some areas, they are still used as traditional wedding gifts, reflecting the old customs of our culture.
I guess that's all for today . Thanks for stopping by and see you in another journey of life in HIVE. Cheers !!
