Monetization and Everything In It

Wow, I'm really interested in this prompt. About monetisation and all its controversies. Why do I say controversial? Of course, because there are always pros and cons, and polemics arise whenever there is a new trend on social media.
As conscious individuals, we always have the view that, apart from connecting with people or seeking entertainment, we also hope that the social media we consume every day also has educational and informative qualities. However, the reality is that there are many creators on social media who carelessly create inappropriate content just to go viral and rake in money. So, is it wrong for someone to try to make money? If we only look at it from a personal gain perspective, then of course it is not wrong. As economic beings, we need money to support our financial needs and livelihood.
But what about morality...?
What about content that only shows something that will ultimately harm others morally? Or will harm themselves with extreme actions just to go viral and monetise? There are some extreme examples of monetisation in my country, such as an elderly woman who voluntarily bathed in mud for 24 hours just to earn money on a live streaming platform. Or someone who slept in a garden full of dangerous insects just to gain attention and monetise? That is clearly a degradation of morality.

Then, it turns out that this goes viral, and many other people flock to do the same thing, all showing inappropriate behaviour.
Am I saying all this because I feel disgusted? Not entirely. I am more concerned because these things are dangerous. Especially when it comes to morality. It reminds me of the system in China, where certain content must be carefully monitored by the responsible authorities in order to be approved. It is curated based on entertainment, education, lifestyle, and so on. It is also strict, and harmful content is not allowed. I hope my country will start implementing such a curation system.
So, if the question is whether all content is worth paying for? I think... NO.
It must be viewed from the quality of the content. Whether in terms of editing, material, or how much effort has been put into the content to deserve public attention.
The next crucial question is,
does this monetisation make people lazy to look for work?
I will answer with one answer but with two or more reasons behind it, apart from the reason of monetisation.
The answer is yes. In my country, there is a village where all the residents rely on money from social media. They create content by dancing in groups. And I don't know what kind of dance it is. It's their own style of dance because their content is dancing and making certain sounds that are annoying (in my opinion). Do they have a lot of viewers? Of course. And the villagers depend on this for their entire daily income. I don't know if that's enough or not. Because I haven't seen any news about the villagers receiving equitable welfare from the results of their monetisation.

So, with this background, I also tried to become a creator. I have a regular job, but in my spare time I started learning to create content about things related to humans, such as awareness of life, mental health, and behaviour. Have I monetised it? Obviously not yet. But do I find it enjoyable? Honestly, it is my dream to be able to share good information with many people. It’s enjoyable, even though fatigue is inevitable. Please pray that I always have the energy to continue my dream of touching many hearts and helping people through the small content and education I create.

That’s my perspective on monetisation and so on. Thank you for reading. I hope this is helpful. Bye.

Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
please share my content if you feel my content is good for everyone to read. Thank you. Let's be friends!
The funny thing about these creators and the consumers of these awful contents is, when you tell them the bad signal in their content, they'll see it's for trend and if you want to make money like that, you should join in the niche or go on with another thing
