Today at home we wanted to eat something different to get out of the daily routine, so I have prepared a delicious pasta with sweet and sour sauce of onion and green peppers, to enjoy with the family, easy to prepare and you will love its flavor, the combination with the sweet and sour sauce gives it an irresistible touch, so I love to prepare it. Let's get to work and start with the step by step.

Hoy en casa hemos querido comer algo diferente para salir de la rutina diaria, así que he preparado una deliciosa pasta con salsa agridulce de cebolla y pimientos verdes, para disfrutar en familia, fácil de preparar y les encantará su sabor, la combinación con la salsa agridulce le da un toque irresistible, por eso me encanta prepararla. Manos a la obra y empecemos con el paso a paso.

300 grams of pasta, 01 onion, 01 green bell pepper, 1/4 cup of tomato paste, 01 tablespoon of vinegar, 01 tablespoon of sugar, 01 tablespoon of soy sauce, 01 teaspoon of oregano, 1/4 cup of water, salt and pepper to taste.

300 grs de pasta, 01 cebolla, 01 pimiento verde, 1/4 taza de pasta de tomate, 01 cucharada de vinagre, 01 cucharada de azúcar, 01 cucharada de salsa de soja,  01 cucharadita de orégano, 1/4 taza de agua, sal y pimienta al gusto.

The first thing to do is to wash the onion, peel it and the green bell pepper, remove the seeds and cut them into julienne strips.

Lo primero que hay que hacer es lavar la cebolla, la pelamos  y al pimiento verde le retiramos  las semillas y las cortamos en juliana.

In a pot put the spoonful of oil, add the onion and the green bell pepper and sauté. When they are soft add the water and then the tomato paste, cook over low heat.

En una olla poner la cucharada de aceite, añadir la cebolla y el pimiento verde y rehogar. Cuando estén blandos, agregar el agua y luego la pasta de tomate; cocinar a fuego lento.

When it is boiling, season with salt, pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and add the oregano. Continue cooking until it reduces and the sauce is thick.

Cuando esté hirviendo, sazonar con sal, pimienta, salsa de soja, vinagre, azúcar y añadir el orégano. Continuar la cocción hasta que reduzca y la salsa esté espesa.

While the sauce is cooking, we are going to make the pasta. We put in a pot with water and, when it is boiling, add salt and cook the pasta until it is al dente. Strain.

Mientras se cuece la salsa, vamos a preparar la pasta. Ponemos una olla con agua y, cuando esté hirviendo, añadimos sal y cocemos la pasta hasta que esté al dente. Colamos.

Add the pasta to the sauce, mix and cook for a few seconds more to integrate the flavors and it's ready. Serve and enjoy a delicious, nutritious and flavorful pasta, enjoy!
