Educate and Empower Youth to Fight Plastic Pollution in Bamenda, Cameroon
Dear Friends,
As the global community comes together this World Environment Week under the call to #BeatPlasticPollution, we invite you to join a powerful grassroots movement that’s turning plastic waste into hope, education, opportunity and innovation.
Our Plastic Education and Recycling (PEAR) Project is equipping young people to lead the fight against plastic pollution through hands-on recycling, environmental education, and community-driven innovation, and we need your support to;
✅ Design and print the PEAR Toolkit for use in schools
✅ Build and deploy more shredders to educate and empower more youth in schools and communities
✅ Support young people to raise funds for their education this summer holiday.
Plastic pollution is a global crisis, but youth-led, local solutions like our PEAR Project are making a real difference. Together, we’ve already removed and shredded over 100,000 plastic bottles from the environment, but to scale our impact, we need your help.
🌍 This World Environment Month, make a global impact by supporting plastic education and recycling.
💚 Donate now to help us print the PEAR Toolkit and build more shredders for schools and communities: https://www.gofundme.com/f/empower-youth-fight-plastic-pollution-with-the-pear-project
📢 Can’t donate right now? No problem. Please share this message with your network, because environmental change takes all of us.
Together, we can beat plastic pollution — one bottle, one student, one community at a time.
