Greetings friends here. Happy Thursday to you all. And hope we are all enjoying the week almost weekend again.

What an awesome theme for this week from @indiaunited weekly contest. Theme: How Did You Join Hive.

My hive journey is one I will like to tell a hundred times because when ever I reflect back on how I came to be in Hive, I smile 😃. Smiling in the sense that I never know I will come to hive and see hive as a place like home after one and half year now. Its a thing that gladdens my heart ♥️.

Actually this coming month of October will mark my 11/2 (one and half) active years in hive. Although my daughter @chel-koby first invited and registered me in the year ending 2022, but then my job was so demanding that I could not see myself coping, so I lay back hoping to make a comeback as time permits me.

And then sometimes in April of 2023, I decided to take the bull by the horn to try and see what I cane offer Hive and what Hive can offer me, because it was so amazing seeing my daughter play some games for Splinterland, alienart , lets make a collage and some other communities that interest her. It was indeed captivating not just the upvote and curation she was receiving but how exciting she looks doing the things she doe’s here while homeschooling .

Chel-koby my younger daughter is the one who introduced me to hive . And then, I have made up my mind to see for myself what a great place hive is because sometimes we make moves that we don’t know what will be the out come. And since there are so many communities in Hive, I decided to stick around promising myself that what I need is just patience since I hive is a place with many communities that one needs to explore.

Honestly speaking, when I first came to hive, I saw hive as s place where I did not think 🤔 I can fit. But inside of me, I was motivated with what is going on here. My inner mind was telling me to take it slowly because slow and steady wins the race. So I decided first and for most to explore the communities to know where to fit inn. And while exploring, I stated engaging on peoples posts, reply and commenting. This indeed gave me more patience since as I was engaging, I started making friends gradually.

And because am a fashionista and fashionlover, loves cooking 🥘 and a lifestyle blogger, I picked interest in communities that I feel I can offer something tangible. This was when I stated seeing results gradually. I could say it was not an easy one because as a newbie, challenges were just out there, like nothing being upvoted sometimes, time factor of how to juggle my physical job to online and then family, but I was determined because I love ❤️ the hive setting environment. A place you will never be left out if you try harder. So I took patience as a virtue .

However, gradually as the journey continues I started seeing some results which was motivating and compensating. This two factors gave me more strength to believe that the best is yet to come if I put more effort. And I did step up my game by blogging more in communities while participating in contest, cooking 🥘 and making drinks 🍹. All these are time consuming but as tome went by, I gradually share the toning of how to cope if I must stay on hive.

In conclusion friends, I could say today am so happy to be a member of hive and its various communities where I now have lots of virtual friends that I interact with. And my community members that I made sure to support through commenting and upvoting their post. And delegating also to communities that support me is my goal too here on hive. I have come to stay here on Hive knowing that the future of Hive as a web 3 blockchain is one that is great.
