When we talk of good and bad about things generally, our mind should always go to why there are advantages and disadvantages in everything that we humans deal with in life. This means that we should not expect 💯 all the time.

And for the prompt of this week on “what are the good and bad things about Hive?

Honestly, Hive Blockchain is one platform that is so wonderful and one that I can say is so different from many of the platforms out there. Most times I see hive as a virtual home and not just a platform because of how at ease things are generally here. Hive feels like family with many areas to relate with people immediately you are registered on here.

Good Things About Hive:

There are so many good things about hive that many of us know. And I will start by mentioning how such an encouraging place hive is due to how no one is left out. Everyone is free to join and write ✍️ in any community of your choice as long as you desire to do so. There is no restriction of any kind despite we have different levels here .

Another good thing about hive is how no one is asking anyone to pay 💰 money here before you onboard and become a hivean. Once you took interest to onboard here, you automatically become like others who are here on hive. You do not have any fees to pay 💰 because no one will ask you to do that.

Hive has helped many people with different talents to know where they belong. Since hive is so broad with different communities that engages in different things, it has helped many of us here to choose where to channel their contents. You don’t need to do what you don’t want to do. I as someone who loves to cook has enjoyed so much rewards from the gastronomy communities. Others like artists, musicians, writers, spots men and women, travelers, etc, has been encouraged in their various communities

The most being how hive has helped many to connect all around the world 🌎. Every community here on hive is being managed by a different individual with different culture, language and race. When you choose join any community, you begin to interact and communicate with different sets of individuals. This one good opportunity hive has also provided us with. Here on hive, I have connected with different people all around the world 🌎. I have friends from India 🇮🇳, friends from Venezuela 🇻🇪, friends from Ghana 🇬🇭, friends from Pakistan 🇵🇰 and so on. These virtual friends was made possible by Hive Blockchain.

And like I said from the beginning of this prompt. We should always expect advantages and disadvantages in any thing that concerns existence because 💯 will never last.

Bad Things About Hive:

First, I will point out that hive is a place you will grow slowly if you don’t have anyone to recognize you. By this I mean that many who are here finds it very difficult to grow because they are not being noticed. It might be due to the kind of content they share or the communities they share their content since some communities are doing better
than others.

I will also want to point out that many who has gotten to the higher levels here on hive seems to be the once that are being upvoted in every of their content while some who are still at the lower levels are not being upvoted despite they share some good and quality contents. Although I might want to attribute this to how it appears that the feeling is that higher level hiveans has worked hard to get to where they are here on hive. Well, this is where patience comes in. Everyone has to wait for their time which most times takes longer.

However we see it, Hive still remains my best platform, because the good things I have seen here has out weighed the bad. This is why hive stands out from other earning blockchain. My virtual home that encouraged and improved every of my skill both in writing ✍️ and cooking 🥘 communities . All we need is patience, hoping for the better days to return because there is no other place like Hive .
