Feathered Friends - SMAP Round 252 -Birds With Food - by Sunscape
(Edited)

This is my backyard buddy; I have regular visits from this Crow and he always caws when he lands in the pine tree to let me know he will wait for food.

I always hear him call to me and sometimes I have fat saved from trimming meat, which he loves. Often, like in this photo with his offspring, he is sharing peanuts with them.

It is funny to watch the young Crows following the parents around waiting for tidbits. They can get very vocal demanding food from them. Now I have 5 Crows that come asking for food, daddy taught them well.
Thank you @melinda010100 @barbara-orenya and @nelinoeva for this fun #smap contest. Have a great week everyone!

Do you have bare ground? We have had so much snow, which we haven't had since the late 90s and very cold. Everything I gave to the birds is covered in snow, I feel sorry for the poor little ones.
Have a good continuation of the new year!
Yes, right now, the snow is melting due to having rain. Those photos are from summer when it was so nice and warm. It has snowed a lot here too, but now that it has been above freezing it seems to be shrinking.
You have many feathered friends in your backyard. The crow family must be quite interesting to watch.

They sure are fun to see. I do love having the crows, they are so comical to watch.
