Yes, it is a gathering of young sparrows on the Hemlock tree. The little one's are watching the area very carefully while some of the other birds take turns eating at the bird feeder. I always "smile" when I see them clustered together like this. I hope they make you smile too, Neli. Have a wonderful week.

Thanks, Pam. I do have a plethora of sparrows due to all the nesting boxes. Your birds will thank you for the food this winter since it is supposed to be a doozy!

When I was little, I always wanted to catch these sparrows to play with them, but they always escaped me. 🙂
