¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de la escritura creativa! Luego de un pequeño incidente haciendo café, me encuentro escribiendo mi participación para el concurso con una sola mano jaja No es nada grave, pero me recordó el tiempo en que escribía en máquina de escribir y tenía que hacerlo con un sólo dedo, porque las teclas eran muy duras y toda mi fuerza, la tenía en el dedo índice de mi mano derecha (con los otros dedos, las teclas no marcaban); en fin, me pareció una anécdota divertida, mi mano izquierda estará mejor para mañana 😉

Creo que ya lo he comentado en algún momento pero, no soy fan de las motocicletas, al menos, no soy de usarlas muy seguido como medio de transporte y eso que donde vivo actualmente, hay una parada de mototaxis justo enfrente. Es perfecto para cuando estas apurado y no puedes esperar una buseta, carrito o jeep, porque llegan más rápido... pero no soy fan de los veloces que pueden ser y más porque hasta la estación del subterráneo, es una bajada con muchas curvas.

Aunque la mayoría del tiempo, hago ese camino hasta la estación a pie, inevitablemente tengo que estar pendiente del constante paso por ambos sentidos, de las motocicletas. Hay conductores que son conscientes y van despacio, pero hay otros que hasta hacen "motopiruetas", muy cerca... Eso siempre me deja con el corazón acelerado.

A mi madre, hace más de un año un motociclista la atropelló y por suerte, sólo salió con raspaduras y un brazo hinchado que tardó meses en sanar, pero el conductor de la moto, culpó a mi madre del accidente. En la capital, este tipo de vehículos se encuentra un poco "desenfrenado", desde que aprobaron las motopiruetas como un deporte (un tema aparte), así que muchos motociclistas se desataron y hasta han habido desenlaces fatales.

Pero, dejando de hablar de cosas negativas, tampoco es que nunca haya pensado en tener una motocicleta, a pesar de lo miedosa que soy. Hablando estéticamente, me gustan aquellas que tienen un compartimento para guardar cosas. Tal vez sea motivado por esas películas o series, en donde las protagonistas tiene este tipo de motocicletas de colores lindos y hasta decoradas, se me hace tan practico cuando quieres hacer las compras. Si no me diera miedo manejar y si viviera en otro lugar, en donde el tráfico, no fuese un caos, me gustaría tener una de esas. Hasta podría hacer deliverys de mi tienda virtual.

Aunque, por los momentos, el uso de motocicletas permanece como el medio de transporte que solo uso para salir de apuros y siempre agarrando al conductor con fuerza 😆

Hello to all the members of this community and lovers of creative writing! After a small incident making coffee, I find myself typing my entry for the contest with only one hand haha It's nothing serious, but it reminded me of the time when I used to type on a typewriter and had to do it with only one finger because the keys were very hard and all my strength was in the index finger of my right hand (with the other fingers, the keys didn't make any mark); anyway, I thought it was a funny anecdote, my left hand will be better for tomorrow 😉

I think I've mentioned this before, but I'm not a fan of motorcycles, at least not very often as a means of transportation, even though where I currently live, there's a motorcycle taxi stand right across the street. It's perfect for when you're in a hurry and can't wait for a bus, rickshaw, or jeep, because they arrive faster... but I'm not a fan of how fast they can be, especially since it's a winding descent to the subway station.

Although I mostly walk to the station, I inevitably have to be aware of the constant passing of motorcycles in both directions. Some drivers are conscientious and go slowly, but others even do "motorcycle stunts" right next to me... That always leaves my heart racing.

My mother was hit by a motorcyclist over a year ago, and luckily, she only suffered scrapes and a swollen arm that took months to heal. However, the motorcycle driver blamed my mother for the accident. In the capital, these types of vehicles have become somewhat "uncontrolled" since motorcycle stunts were approved as a sport (a separate issue), so many motorcyclists have gone wild, and there have even been fatalities.

But, leaving aside the negative aspects, it's not like I've ever thought about owning a motorcycle, despite how fearful I am. Aesthetically speaking, I like those with a storage compartment. Maybe it's because of those movies or TV shows where the protagonists ride these types of motorcycles in pretty colors and even decorated ones; I find them so practical when I want to go shopping. If I weren't afraid to drive and if I lived somewhere else, where traffic wasn't such a chaos, I would like to have one of those. I could even make deliveries from my online store.

Although, for now, motorcycles remain the only means of transportation I use to get out of trouble, always holding on tight to the driver 😆
