¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de la escritura creativa! Hoy amanecí con un agotamiento mental, debido a que estado durmiendo mal últimamente, sin embargo, mis ganas de coser siguen intactas, así que se imaginarán como quedé luego de pasar varias horas cosiendo, me siento entre agotada y feliz jaja tal vez por eso, cuando me senté a redactar mi participación para el concurso, mis pensamientos se dispersaron bastante jaja 😅

Pienso que tomamos a la ligera la infancia, una etapa en la que el ser humano, se va formando, no sólo a nivel físico, sino también a nivel emocional y mental. Entre los factores que aportan a la infancia, se encuentran los juegos.

No soy madre, así que lo que comento es sólo mi punto de vista como persona observadora y consciente. Estamos de acuerdo en que las cosas han cambiado, siempre lo hacen, es el curso natural y en la actualidad, la tecnología se ha vuelto parte del día a día de los niños. No digo que antes los más pequeños no tuviesen contacto con la violencia, ya que había mucho contenido que podría entrar en esa categoría en la televisión, pero al menos, el control parental, podía ser más severo.

Al menos en mi caso, mis padres estaban muy al pendiente del tipo de programa que consumíamos en la televisión y por ese tiempo, no teníamos acceso a internet. En la actualidad, es abominable lo fácil que un infante puede entrar en contacto con contenido que no es apto para su edad (y de hecho, contenido que no debería ser apto para nadie).

Pero al ser bombardeados constantemente con tanta información, nos ha llevado a normalizarlo. Darle el acceso a un niño a juegos violentos, no es formarle el carácter, puede ser perjudicial, pues muchos de estos niños se insensibilizan desde muy temprana edad y piensan que la vida es como en los videojuegos o no entienden realmente de qué se trata.

La tarea de los padres está en enseñarle a sus hijos los valores suficientes para comprender no sólo el mundo que los rodea, sino para no ser absorbidos por las pantallas. Los niños, ya no se divierten con la imaginación, la tecnología los está drenando poco a poco y eso, es otro tipo de violencia, una silenciosa que destruye sin que nos demos cuenta.

Hello to all members of this community and lovers of creative writing! I woke up mentally exhausted today because I haven't been sleeping well lately. However, my desire to sew is still strong, so you can imagine how I felt after spending several hours sewing. I feel somewhere between exhausted and happy, haha. Maybe that's why, when I sat down to write my entry for the contest, my thoughts got quite scattered, haha ​​😅

I think we take childhood too lightly, a stage in which human beings develop not only physically, but also emotionally and mentally. Among the factors that contribute to childhood are games.

I'm not a mother, so what I'm saying is just my perspective as an observant and aware person. We can all agree that things have changed; they always do, it's the natural course of things. And nowadays, technology has become part of children's daily lives. I'm not saying that young children weren't exposed to violence before, since there was a lot of content on television that could fall into that category, but at least parental control could be stricter.

At least in my case, my parents were very attentive to the type of programs we watched on television, and at that time, we didn't have internet access. It's appalling how easily a child can come into contact with content that's inappropriate for their age (and in fact, content that shouldn't be appropriate for anyone).

But being constantly bombarded with so much information has led us to normalize it. Giving a child access to violent games doesn't build character; it can be harmful, as many of these children become desensitized from a very young age and think that life is like video games or don't really understand what it's all about.

The task of parents is to teach their children enough values ​​to understand not only the world around them but also to avoid being absorbed by screens. Children no longer have fun with their imaginations; technology is slowly draining them, and that's another kind of violence, a silent one that destroys without us even realizing it.
