CONTENIDO EN ESPAÑOL

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de la escritura creativa! Luego de una noche de mal sueño, pensé que no podría escribir nada jaja pero por suerte, mi cerebro ha estado funcional pude formular mi participación para el concurso. Noté que la mayoría habló sobre la tasa en la que se maneja el dólar... aunque lo que yo comentaré, no tiene nada que ver con eso 😅

Lo primero que pensé, al ver la fotografía, fue en los diferentes sistemas de envíos disponibles en el país. De vez en cuando, en casa recibíamos un paquete de parte de nuestro padre, ya que él se hallaba trabajando en la capital y nosotros, en otro estado. Por lo general, enviaba algunas revistas para mí o mi hermano, así como entre otras cosas, inclusive hasta una vez envió un queso jaja creo que ha sido lo más random que llegó a enviar.

Yo, me siento algo apenada, pues, hasta la fecha, nunca he hecho o recibido un envío como tal, ya que esos temas, siempre me parecieron riesgosos.

De hecho, "casi" recibí un paquete y digo "casi", porque no fue culpa de quién lo envió... Verán, hace muchos años atrás, cuando yo tenía unos quince años más o menos, participé en un concurso que realizaron en un foro, al cual pertenecía, en donde, había que realizar el cómic de una historia que ya había ganado en otro concurso, sobre historias.

Como no tenía internet en casa, solía interactuar en ese foro cuando iba a los ciber cafés y cuando me enteré de ese concurso, quise intentarlo, así que me copié el texto y estuve en mis ratos libres dibujando la historia en formato cómic, la cual llevaba por nombre "Gallito ciego".

Pude terminarlo y entregarlo. Para mi sorpresa, mi cómic quedó en segundo lugar, siendo sorprendente porque todos lo habían hecho en formato digital y el mío, era el único hecho en formato tradicional y escaneado.

Yo estaba muy feliz por mi logro. El premio para el segundo lugar, era el tomo de un manga o cómic del género de la historia. Yo estaba muy contenta. Pero, el envío se realizaría desde México, así que debía enviar todos los datos correspondientes para que me llegase el mismo.

Entregué los datos... pero estoy segura de que no entregué bien el código postal o alguna otra cosa, ya que el paquete nunca llegó a casa. Las demás ganadoras, tanto primer como tercer lugar, recibieron los envíos y el mío, simplemente, nunca llegó.

En ese tiempo, no tenía una muy buena conversación con mi madre o mis hermanos, así que había hecho todo eso sola y tenía un nulo conocimiento sobre las cuestiones de envío, más siendo internacionales.

De esa forma, nunca tuve mi premio, pero al menos me quedó la satisfacción de saber que quedé en segundo lugar en ese concurso jaja.

En el presente, no es que haya hecho un envío como tal o recibido nada, pero ya soy más consciente del tipo de información necesaria en las direcciones o puedo preguntar o investigar. Es una lastima que perdiera un lindo tomo de un cómic por desconocimiento.

Recordé claramente ese evento cuando vi el paquete en la imagen, fue tipo que mi cerebro dijo "Ah... ¿Recuerdas la vez que no te llegó el premio?" jajaja Al menos, queda como anécdota curiosa 😅

Hello to all the members of this community and lovers of creative writing! After a bad night's sleep, I thought I wouldn't be able to write anything haha ​​but luckily, my brain has been functional and I was able to formulate my participation for the contest. I noticed that most of you talked about the dollar's exchange rate... although what I'm going to comment on has nothing to do with that 😅

The first thing I thought about, upon seeing the photograph, was the different delivery systems available in the country. Every now and then, we'd receive a package from our father at home, since he was working in the capital and we were in another state. He usually sent some magazines for me or my brother, and among other things, he even sent a piece of cheese once, haha, I think it was the most random thing he ever sent.

I feel a little embarrassed because, to this day, I've never sent or received such a delivery, since those things always seemed risky to me.

In fact, I "almost" received a package, and I say "almost" because it wasn't the sender's fault... You see, many years ago, when I was about fifteen years old, I participated in a contest held on a forum I belonged to, where you had to create a comic based on a story I had already won in another contest about stories.

Since I didn't have internet at home, I used to interact on that forum when I went to internet cafes. When I heard about the contest, I wanted to give it a try. So I copied the text and spent my free time drawing the comic book story, which was called "Blind Rooster."

I was able to finish it and submit it. To my surprise, my comic book came in second place. This was surprising because everyone else had done it in digital format, and mine was the only one done in traditional, scanned format.

I was very happy with my achievement. The second-place prize was a manga or comic book volume in the story genre. I was very pleased. However, the shipment would be from Mexico, so I had to send all the corresponding information so that it would arrive.

I submitted the information... but I'm sure I didn't provide the correct zip code or something else, since the package never arrived at my house. The other winners, both first and third place, received their shipments, and mine simply never arrived.

At the time, I didn't have a very good conversation with my mom or siblings, so I had done all of that alone and had zero knowledge about shipping issues, especially international ones.

That way, I never received my prize, but at least I had the satisfaction of knowing I came in second place in that contest, haha.

Nowadays, it's not that I've actually sent anything or received anything, but I'm more aware of the type of information needed for addresses, so I can ask or research it. It's a shame I lost a nice comic book due to ignorance.

I clearly remembered that event when I saw the package in the picture. It was like my brain said, "Oh... Remember that time your prize didn't arrive?" Hahaha. At least it remains a curious anecdote 😅
