(ENG/ESP) 🎨✨ Let's Make a Collage - Round 244: Self-imposed limitations / Limitaciones autoimpuestas 🎨✨
ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello to all members of this community and collage lovers! I almost missed participating in the contest, haha. I've been immersed in my sewing projects, and before I know it, time has flown by. I'm also trying to get back into traditional and digital drawing, so managing my time between those things ends up being a bit scattered. 😅 Anyway, since I needed to clear my busy mind, I thought the best thing to do was dedicate myself to making my entry for round 244, and this is what I came up with:

At first, I had a very vague idea in mind. I remember working with the base image before, and on that occasion, I transformed the cabin into a monster, haha, so I made that monster something more "internal," through confinement. Many experienced the ravages of prolonged confinement after the pandemic, but there are many people who live without leaving their homes by choice or because something prevents them from doing so. I, for example, can spend days, weeks, and even months locked up, since I have a lot to do. However, that doesn't mean there won't come a point in my life when I feel I need to go out and "get some fresh air," haha.

We're not aware of it until it happens to us, but being isolated from other people can not only limit our ability to connect with them (and even make it difficult to speak fluently), but it can seriously affect our judgment and worldview. I've become more aware of this with someone I know who never goes out and lives entirely online. Just having a conversation with this person or listening to their opinion on something is enough to realize how the mind adapts to these invisible but undeniably real limitations, becoming fixed at an unquestionable point.

I don't know, I wanted to reflect that in my collage: People who deceive themselves (often without realizing it) and believe they have all the knowledge in the world, even though ironically they remain detached from it and base everything on their beliefs. Therefore, the individual like that remains anchored by their own will to an inaccessible space, while being indifferent to what happens outside the limits of their thinking.
✨ Thank you so much for visiting my post. I hope you found it interesting ✨
💚 Until next time! 💚

I love the concept @suezoe of being confined, then coming out once in a while. Your design shows the confinement with the house on top of the snail. Now I couldn't imagine living my life in a seashell, but other spaces and frames of mind are often more restrictive. The burst of colors are awesome. Thanks for choosing my fractal as one of the backgrounds.
Good luck in the contest. I'm rooting for you. Take care.
