Hello to all the members of this community and collage lovers! I am very happy to join the round 235, since I was able to have my collage ready just in time, without feeling pressured (sometimes I find out late, other times the ideas are there, but I don't have the time to work on them 😆).

Okay, the collages I make always have some explanation, and in this case, it has a background. I'd seen the main photograph before, and every time I look at it, it makes me think of someone determined or searching for their destiny, while looking toward the horizon. So I wanted to reflect the states of mind we have before achieving something and that "vision" of what we want to become.

With that in mind, I searched the community gallery for an image that could serve as the background, and I found a photograph of snow with some footsteps in it. Don't you sometimes feel like life can feel like walking on thick layers of snow? The path our protagonist finds himself on may be cold, but the hope of becoming a better version of himself always motivates him to keep going.

To achieve something on our own, it takes more than luck. Behind it all is constant work and perseverance, which is only achieved by leaving behind patterns and behaviors that lead us to become a disciplined person determined to achieve our goals. Climbing that ladder is sometimes not easy, but perseverance is always there.

Even so, we mustn't be fooled. Striving today to be a better person tomorrow doesn't mean we should abandon the person we are today. The exhaustion of wanting to be that person we've idealized can even hold us back and lead us to believe we want too much. It's okay to strive, but we must have realistic goals we can achieve, small milestones that, once achieved, give us the strength to keep going and always be grateful for ourselves.

I used Photoshop to create the collage and Line Camera to add effects.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los collages! Muy alegre me sumo a la ronda 235, puesto que pude tener listo mi collage justo a tiempo, sin sentirme presionada (a veces, me entero tarde, otras veces las ideas están, pero no consigo el tiempo para trabajarlas 😆).

Muy bien, los collages que hago siempre tienen alguna explicación y en éste caso, tiene su trasfondo. La fotografía principal, ya la había visto antes y cada vez que me fijo en ella, me hace pensar en alguien determinado o en búsqueda de su destino, al tiempo que ve hacia el horizonte. De modo que quise plantear los estados de ánimos que tenemos antes de lograr algo y esa "visión" de lo que queremos llegar a ser.

Teniendo eso en mente, busqué en la galería de la comunidad, una imagen que pudiera servirme para el fondo, hallándome con una fotografía de nieve con algunos pasos en ella ¿A veces no sienten que la vida se puede sentir como caminar sobre gruesas capas de nieve? El camino en donde se encuentra nuestro protagonista, puede ser frío, pero siempre la esperanza por ser una mejor versión de sí mismo, lo motiva a seguir adelante.

Para alcanzar algo por nuestros propios medios, se requiere más que la suerte. Detrás de eso, hay un trabajo constante y perseverancia, la cual sólo se logra dejando atrás patrones y comportamientos que nos lleva a convertirnos en una persona disciplinada y determinada a lograr sus objetivos. Subir ese peldaño en ocasiones no es nada fácil, pero el que persevera alcanza.

Aún así, no debemos dejarnos engañar. Esforzarnos hoy para ser alguien mejor mañana, no significa que debamos abandonar a la persona que somos en el presente. El desgaste por querer ser esa persona que hemos idealizado, puede incluso frenarnos en el camino y hasta llevarnos a creer que deseamos demasiado. Está bien esforzarse, pero hay que tener objetivos realistas que podamos alcanzar, pequeñas metas que tras lograrlas, nos den la fuerza necesaria para seguir adelante y siempre, ser agradecidos con nosotros mismos.

Utilicé el programa Photoshop para realizar el collage y la app Line Camera para agregarle efectos.
