Hello to all the members of this community and collage lovers! It's been a while since I last popped around here haha. But I've been a bit busy, immersed in some projects and catching up on some posts that have accumulated 😅 But don't think I've neglected collages in my life. After all, as I've mentioned in several posts, thanks to this community I not only ventured into making collages, but I've also learned to appreciate them. I’ve had the chance to see collage exhibitions in galleries and museums and immediately think of #lmac 😌 I’ve even made some physical collages, nothing impressive. Would it be appropriate to upload them to this community or is it not its niche? 🤔 Anyway... I’m joining round 232! With lots of colors in between, just the way I like it 🌈

When I saw the image proposed for the contest, I thought of a journey. Since I moved to the capital, I've traveled from time to time to visit my boyfriend and my cat (coincidentally, I'm traveling again tomorrow 😅), always treating it as an adventure where different possibilities open up. Then I thought about the decisions we make. The process is sometimes not easy, but when we finally take a path, the doubt always arises of what could have happened if we had taken the other route. So, sometimes I think that in another universe, there's a version of me who didn't move, another who left the country, another who graduated from something else, and another who doesn't like coffee... Bizarre, isn't it?

With that in mind, I thought of the car as that determination to move, and the pineapple as our experiences and experiences, which go together. So I tried to find a way to represent those other worlds with those other versions of us.

I chose a very psychedelic background because they say the other dimensions are not visible to the human eye, so I imagine it must be something very "crazy" to be able to be interpreted by our minds, that and that I love color 😅 When creating those other versions of us, I selected a humanoid figure, representing the physical body and an eye, like the intuitive part that we all have. In each "world" or world layers, I made some changes to the figures, to convey that even though they look somewhat different, they have something familiar, something that unites them. For the figure in the center, I deformed it to make it somewhat abstract, as a representation of that internal path that we don't know how to reach but is the reason why the wheel turns... I hope I made myself clear haha.

Finally, I added more colorful details because... the more colorful the better 😅 I really liked the result, it makes me think of Dreamcore, which is a visual style where the aesthetic is based on dreams and surreal situations. I love making collages, so I hope to manage my time to upload content here more frequently, regardless of whether it's for contests or not. Wish me luck with it! ✨

The programs I used to create the collage were Photoshop for the composition and Line Camera for the final effects.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los collages! Tenía un rato sin aparecerme por acá jaja Pero he estado algo ocupada inmersa en algunos proyectos y poniéndome al día con algunas publicaciones que se me acumularon 😅 pero, no piensen que he dejado de lado los collages en mi vida. Después de todo, como he comentado en varios post, gracias a ésta comunidad no sólo me aventuré a hacer collages, sino que aprendí a apreciar los mismos. He tenido la oportunidad de ver exposiciones de collages en galerías y museos e inmediatamente, pienso en #lmac 😌 Hasta he hecho algunos collages físicos, nada impresionante ¿Sería adecuado subirlos a esta comunidad o no es su nicho?🤔 En fin... ¡Me sumo a la ronda 232! Con muchos colores de por medio, como me gusta 🌈

Cuando vi la imagen propuesta para el concurso, pensé en un viaje. Desde que me mudé a la capital, he viajado de vez en cuando para visitar a mi novio y mi gato (casualmente, mañana viajo de nuevo 😅), siempre tomándolo como una aventura en dónde se abren distintas posibilidades. Entonces pensé en las decisiones que tomamos. El proceso, a veces no es fácil, pero cuando finalmente tomamos una vía, siempre surge la duda de qué pudo haber ocurrido si hubiéramos tomado el otro camino. Entonces, a veces pienso que en otro universo, hay una versión de mí que no se mudó, otra que se fue del país, otra que se graduó de otra cosa y una a la que no le gusta el café... Bizarro ¿No?

Teniendo eso en mente, pensé en el auto como esa determinación a movernos y en la piña, como nuestras experiencias y vivencias, las cuales van juntas. Así que traté de hallar un modo de representar esos otros mundos con esas otras versiones de nosotros.

Escogí un fondo muy psicodélico porque dicen que las otras dimensiones no son visibles al ojo humano, así que me imagino que debe ser algo muy "loco" para poder ser interpretado por nuestras mentes, eso y que me encanta lo colorido 😅 A la hora de crear esas otras versiones de nosotros, seleccioné una figura humanoide, representando el cuerpo físico y un ojo, como la parte intuitiva que todos tenemos. En cada "mundo" o capas de mundo, hice algunos cambios en las figuras, para dar a entender que a pesar de que luzcan algo diferentes, tienen algo familiar, algo que las une. Para la figura del centro, la deformé hasta hacerlo algo abstracto, como representación de ese camino interno que no sabemos cómo llegar a él pero es el motivo de que la rueda gire... Espero haberme dado a entender jaja.

Finalmente, agregué más detalles coloridos porque... mientras más colorido mejor 😅 Me gustó mucho el resultado, me hace pensar en el Dreamcore, el cual es un estilo visual en dónde la estética se basa en los sueños y las situaciones surrealistas. Me encanta elaborar collages, así que espero administrar mi tiempo para subir contenido por acá de forma más recurrente, independientemente sean para los concursos o no ¡Deséenme suerte con ello! ✨
