My Actifit Report Card and Update: September 1 2025
Hi Everyone,
I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. I feel I’m writing too few of these at the moment. I’ve been busy doing other things. This time I’ve been busy with content. I posted the final results posts for the challenge series, and I’ve continued to work on the Sapien Loop characters’ journeys.
I’ve also had the misfortune of being under the weather. I picked up another bug from a wrestling event. It’s hard to go anywhere without running into ill people. It’s sad to see so many people struggling with some sort of illness. People’s immune systems are really bad. It’s been this way since the Covid-19 fiasco. It feels worse now than ever. I’ll have to dig into the stats to see how bad things are.
The wrestling event I went to was interesting. It was WWE Smackdown. It was the first televised wrestling event I’ve ever been to. It had a very different feel to it than the house shows. It had promos with wrestlers talking themselves up or engaging with other wrestlers. There were fewer matches. There were seven matches, and only four were televised for the show. The double main event was not televised. I didn’t realise they weren’t televised until I watched the episode on Netflix.
Overall, I think I prefer watching the house shows live. They are more focused on the wrestling and run a lot smoother. The televised shows involve too much starting and stopping for commercials. The house shows are also more focused on the live audience. Whereas the televised shows are geared much more to the cameras. The tickets for the house shows are also a lot cheaper.
My Content
I posted the final four results posts for the challenge series and rewarded the final challenge winners and overall winner today. The prizes are in Hive Power. Therefore, powering up today should also give the winners the September power-up trophies. Just an added bonus.
The challenge series went pretty smoothly this year. No problems with the challenges or participants. In previous years, we’ve had some participants try and cheat, which was disappointing at the time. I had to change some of the challenges to prevent this from happening again. This year, the participants played the games fairly. I didn’t see any foul play. Some things are difficult to detect. It is possible that some of the participants could have used more than one account, but nothing stood out to me.
The quality of responses was not as good as some years. I think some of the participants did not pay close attention to the instructions. Overall, I’m quite happy with the participants and the responses.
For my Sapien Loop content, I’m close to completing the individual character journeys. It’s crazy how many characters I have for the two books plus short stories. Altogether, there are over two hundred characters. Most of them are minor, but most of them play an important part in the story at some point.
The purpose of the characters' journeys is to provide a helpful reference to where all the characters fit in their roles in the overall story. They also help demonstrate the character arcs for the most important characters. These write-ups also help me keep track of these characters and help me to keep them and their journeys consistent. I think anyone who has read the first two books and short stories will find these interesting and helpful in the lead-up to the final book.
I will be publishing these character journeys in alphabetical order in my @captainhive account. I expect to spread them over eight to ten different posts. I will be doing this in a few weeks' time after editing and adding pictures. I might be adding this content to the back of the short stories book, which I will be publishing in the final quarter of this year.
That wraps up this Actifit Report and Update. I wish everyone a great week ahead.
