The Guardian - Let's Make a Collage - Round 249 [ENG/ESP]

Hello friends and hello #lmac community, what a joy to return again to the community to share the result of this last round. I hope you are having a very nice day and that the week has been totally productive, but above all very creative. Here is my submission.

Hola amigos y hola comunidad de #lmac, qué alegría regresar nuevamente a la comunidad para compartir el resultado de esta última ronda. Espero que estén teniendo un muy lindo día y que la semana haya sido de total provecho, pero sobre todo muy creativa. Les comparto mi participación.

This week's image, from the moment I saw it, inspired a certain air of protection and care, so I came up with the idea of creating a protective guardian of nature. To do this, I used a beautiful image of a forest in shadows, to which I made some color corrections to achieve a darker atmosphere. Right in the center, I added the statue, adjusting lights and shadows to improve integration with the environment and increase the air of mystery and solemnity. Inside the guardian's layer, I placed the texture of a butterfly wing. With my brushes in Photoshop, I added a small halo over the guardian's head, as well as some stars and sparkles. I also added some small flowers with blur effects that I obtained from the community's resources. I really liked the mysticism that was emerging, but I wanted to increase the mystery by adding two textures of my own: one of chromatic aberration, typical of errors in analog cameras, and another of noise and tears. Without a doubt, the result I got was exactly what I wanted: a mysterious atmosphere where a guardian protects a secret garden in the middle of a forest. I hope you like it too.

La imagen de esta semana, desde que la vi, me inspiró cierto aire de protección y cuidado, así que ideé realizar un guardián protector de la naturaleza. Para esto me auxilié de una bella imagen de un bosque en penumbras a la que realicé algunas correcciones de color para lograr una atmósfera más oscura. Justo en el centro agregué la estatua, a la que ajusté luces y sombras para mejorar la integración con el entorno y aumentar el aire de misterio y solemnidad. Dentro de la capa del guardián coloqué la textura de un ala de mariposa. Con mis pinceles en Photoshop agregué un pequeño halo sobre la cabeza del guardián y algunas estrellas y destellos. También agregué unas pequeñas flores con desenfoques que obtuve de los recursos de la comunidad. Me gustó mucho el misticismo con el que estaba quedando, pero quise aumentar el misterio agregando dos texturas propias: una de una aberración cromática, típica de errores en las cámaras analógicas, y otra de ruido y rasgaduras. Sin dudas, el resultado que obtuve era exactamente lo que quería: una misteriosa atmósfera donde un guardián protege un jardín secreto en medio de un bosque. Espero que les guste también.
