The photo I’m sharing today really spoke to me, especially because it plays with the texture of the stone and the shadows cast by the tree leaves along the path. Ancient roads like this are beautiful, especially their cobbled construction. They are shaded paths, where trees are planted on each side so that travelers like me can take shelter from the midday sun. It seems the worn-down, almost vanishing stones tell a story. When I was little, I used to play at not stepping on the cracks in the road.
