This time I captured a butterfly shadow again!
Hola amigos y hola comunidad de Shadow Hunters, regresamos a compartir nuestras capturas de la semana, sin dudas un momento que muchos en la comunidad esperamos con ansias. Como siempre empiezo deseándoles un lindo día, y esperando que la semana sea lo suficientemente provechosa para todos. Hoy les traigo una nueva fotografía, una nueva captura de una sombra. ¡Esta vez volví a capturar una sombra de mariposa!
The butterfly and its shadow undoubtedly remind me of how fleeting and mysterious light can be. I captured this photo at night, while walking close to a wall. Like a living tattoo, this little nocturnal butterfly was there, lit only by the streetlights. It looked so lonely that I couldn’t help but feel a certain melancholy, perhaps longing? Butterflies are such delicate beings, yet nocturnal butterflies are sometimes seen through different eyes. Some time ago, I wrote about this type of butterfly and the legends behind its flight in my country. They’re known as “Bruja butterflies,” and legend says they are spirits trapped in that fragile body. I only see a misunderstood little insect with a unique beauty. Its shape is almost a perfect triangle, and its shadow seems to shelter some secret. What do you think about nocturnal butterflies? Do you like them? La mariposa y su sombra me recuerdan sin dudas lo fugaz y misteriosa que puede ser la luz. Capturé esta foto en la noche, mientras caminaba pegada a una pared. Como un tatuaje vivo estaba esta pequeña mariposa nocturna, iluminada solo por las luces de la calle. Se veía solitaria, tanto que no pude dejar de sentir cierta melancolía, quizás añoranza. Las mariposas son seres tan delicados, sin embargo las mariposas nocturnas a veces son vistas con otros ojos. Hace un tiempo escribí sobre este tipo de mariposas y las leyendas detrás de su vuelo en mi país. Se les conoce como mariposa Bruja y cuenta la leyenda que es un espíritu atrapado en ese frágil cuerpo. Yo solo veo un pequeño insecto incomprendido y con una belleza única. Su forma es casi un triángulo perfecto y su sombra parece que refugia algún secreto. ¿Qué creen ustedes de las mariposas nocturnas? ¿Les gustan? Le dije adiós a esta después de tomarle la foto, las mariposas nocturnas no tienen una larga vida.
