Hello friends and hello Shadow Hunters community. As every week, I begin by wishing you a nice day, and hoping to see your magnificent shadow captures. Today I also sit down to write this little blog to participate with my shadow of the week. I hope you like this post.

Hola amigos y hola comunidad de Shadow Hunters. Como cada semana, comienzo deseándoles un lindo día, y esperando ver sus magníficas capturas de sombras. Hoy yo también me siento a escribir este pequeño blog para participar con mi sombra de la semana. Espero que les guste esa entrada.

The photograph I share with you today once again features nature as the protagonist, specifically a small wild yellow flower. A small photograph I took in the calm of midday, when the sun is at its highest point and shadows are most intense. I like that it is a photograph marked by contrasts: the natural against the concrete, light against shadow. The intense yellow petals against the dull, almost nonexistent colors of the background. To capture it, I took several photos, getting close enough; I didn’t want to lose details or have other elements included in the photo besides the flower, shadow, and concrete. When I had several photos, about five, I selected this one as my favorite and took it to Snapseed to give it more defined touches. I also made a small adjustment to sharpness and contrast in some areas. Finally, I blurred the corners of the photo a bit. I really enjoyed capturing this photograph, and I think it is an excellent shadow capture, one of my favorites. I hope you like it too. La fotografía que les comparto hoy vuelve a tener de protagonista la naturaleza, específicamente una pequeña flor amarilla silvestre. Una pequeña fotografía que tomé en la calma del mediodía, cuando el sol está en su punto más alto y las sombras son más intensas. Me gusta que es una fotografía marcada por los contrastes: lo natural contra el concreto, la luz contra la sombra. Los pétalos amarillos intensos con los colores apagados casi nulos del fondo. Para capturarla hice varias fotos acercándome lo suficiente, no quería perder detalles, ni que se incluyeran en la foto otros elementos que no fueran flor, sombra y concreto. Cuando tuve varias fotos, unas cinco, seleccioné esta como mi favorita y la llevé a Snapseed para darle toques más definidos. Además, le hice un pequeño ajuste a la nitidez y el contraste en algunas zonas. Por último, desenfoqué un poco las esquinas de la foto. Me gustó mucho capturar esta fotografía y creo que es una excelente captura de sombra, de mis favoritas. Espero que a ustedes también les guste.
