Guardian Sphinxes - Let's Make a Collage - Round 247

Hello friends and hello my dear #LMAC community, what a joy to return on a new day with a new collage. There’s no doubt I couldn’t miss participating in a round with such a beautiful inspiring photograph. Many thanks to the author for providing this image, and I hope you like my interpretation of it. Let’s begin!

Hola amigos y hola mi querida comunidad de #LMAC, ¡qué alegría regresar un nuevo día con un nuevo collage! Y es que sin dudas no me podía perder participar en una ronda con una fotografía tan bonita de inspiración. Muchas gracias al autor por ceder esta imagen, y espero que les guste mi interpretación de la misma. ¡Comenzamos!

My collage is specifically inspired by the scene in the book The Neverending Story where the mirror portal guarded by the two sphinxes is described. For that, I used the sphinx from the original image and made a duplicate that I placed facing the other. I added water with the reflection of the sphinxes, an ancient temple, and a sky in which very close planets can be seen, taking up almost the entire image. I completed this image with some fog-effect brushes of my own, as well as a few filters and chromatic stains to give it a more mysterious and retro touch. I also added a bit of noise at the end. I’m sharing a small GIF animation of the whole process. I hope you enjoy it.

Mi collage está inspirado específicamente en la escena del libro La historia interminable donde se narra el portal del espejo custodiado por las dos esfinges. Para eso utilicé la esfinge de la imagen original y le hice un duplicado que coloqué frente a frente. Agregué agua con el reflejo de las esfinges, un antiguo templo, y un cielo en el que se divisan planetas muy cercanos que ocupan casi toda la imagen. Completé esta imagen con algunos pinceles de efecto de niebla de mi autoría, y algunos filtros y manchas cromáticas para darle un toque más misterioso y retro. También agregué un poco de ruido al final. Les comparto una pequeña animación en formato GIF de todo el proceso. Espero que lo disfruten.
