Glimwood Tangle Night – Gaming Photography Contest Entry

Hello friends and community, I hope you are having a lovely day. this will be my entry for Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Night Photography, these will be photographs taken during my gameplay of Pokemon Sword specifically in the Glimwood Tangle forest. This is a unique nighttime setting, famous for its bioluminescent mushrooms that light up the darkness when touched, creating a magical and mysterious atmosphere. Without a doubt it is one of the most memorable places in the Galar region and the perfect spot to photograph unique pokemon in a nocturnal environment. I hope you enjoy these photos of different pokemon in their natural habitat.

The first encounter right upon entering the forest was with Impidimp, a Fairy Dark type pokemon, it is a very cunning and mischievous pokemon. Its nature is playful and emotionally chaotic, it is very common to see it among the mushrooms of the forest feeling attracted by their movements and particles. Impidimp is playful and bouncy and it is one of those pokemon that leave a mark from the very first time you meet them.

Right after that Swirlix appeared right in front, this small and huggable fairy, it is the cotton candy pokemon, it has very good abilities such as Sweet Scent and Sweet Veil. This is a pokemon whose diet is based exclusively on sweets, which makes its body mostly composed of sugar giving it that fluffy appearance. It is very cheerful and playful, literal and emotional sweetness. It is somewhat rare to find it in the darkness of the forest since it is not its natural habitat.

Another of the most common pokemon in the forest is Shiinotic, Fairy Grass type and reaching up to one meter in height, it is a Mushroom pokemon and has abilities that make it a good healer, among them Effect Spore, Rain Dish and Illuminate. Its body emits like the mushrooms of the forest a hypnotic light to attract its prey and then absorbs their vital energy, without a doubt it is a mushroom in every sense of the word. It is the beauty that hides its danger, it embellishes the environment and is a trap for the unwary.

I could not miss the beauty of the landscape and take a photo of my dear Luxray. It is the electric pokemon of my team, its eyes shine like the forest. Its electric type attacks have never disappointed me and have gotten me out of more than one trouble in battle.

Hidden in the darkest part appeared Morgrem, evolution of Impidimp, keeping the Dark Fairy type, as cunning as its pre evolution. Its personality is much more calculating and sinister, the king of the Glimwood Tangle forest.

Phantump is a Grass Ghost type Pokemon, they say it is born when the spirit of a child takes over a stump in the forest, its appearance is very melancholic and mysterious. Its ghostly origin and its stump like look make it a symbol of the mysteries of the forest. Phantump glides among the trunks of the forest whispering its characteristic sound.

Coming out of the forest appeared one of my favorite Pokemon, Hatenna, a princess of the psychic, very silent and intelligent. Its design is soft and pastel colored contrasting with all the darkness of the forest.

For the last photo I decided to take a capture of the pokemon camp with part of my pokemon team Luxray, Kirlia, Hatenna and Cinderace. All gathered in the forest around the glowing mushrooms, in total calm and sharing together.
