Fishing Afternoon in Animal Crossing – My Best Picks

Hello friends and community, these days as you well know my gaming sessions are divided between hours exploring Hyrule and unforgettable moments in Animal Crossing. I did not want to miss the opportunity to participate this week in Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Your Best Picks, therefore here I share with you my best photographs of an afternoon of fishing on my Animal Crossing Island, catching new specimens and contributing to increase the collection of fish in the local museum. If we are ready we cast the hook and start fishing.

Fishing in Animal Crossing is one of the most fun activities, it not only gives us income but also allows us to complete the museum’s fish collection so that Blathers is very happy. There is a great variety of fish and they are species that exist in real life, so we also learn a little. Fishing is very simple, we approach the water when we see the silhouette of a fish, cast the hook, and wait for it to bite.

And the first catch of this afternoon was an excellent specimen of a rooster fish... oh no, it’s a turbot, straight to the inventory you go!

This is one of my favorite places on my island to go fishing, near the stone bridge. Here I have always caught great specimens, and it is a very beautiful setting. I especially like it today because autumn has dyed the trees with a lovely ocher color, and the oranges brighten the view.

And there, between the wind that moved the leaves and the river flowing under the bridge, I caught this little one, a dace, and crossed it off my list! Here every fish counts, because if we already have it in the museum, we will sell it for some bells to buy furniture or clothes that we like.

My next catch was a battle, it pulled hard on my fishing line but after so much struggle it came to the surface and surprise...

I have fished a perch, it is impressive to see it up close, it is big and its green color is very characteristic. I already have these in the museum so it will be sold later in the shop, I hope they give me many bells.

Who doesn’t like going to the pier to fish? It makes you feel like a true professional of the hook, an ace of fishing.

And we fished a sea bass that is better than a sardine.

Sometimes we find old acquaintances while fishing, a greeting and look... now I really caught a rooster fish, not to be confused with a turbot.

There are many beautiful places on the island to go fishing, like this lake that I rarely visit. Maybe later I’ll place a bench nearby so I can come and enjoy the scenery together with the neighbors.

A jack mackerel and a red snapper were our last catches of the afternoon. I think it was a very productive day, new species for the museum and fish to sell so we can buy something for the house, maybe that orange sofa I wanted so much...

But before selling or donating to the museum, we can’t miss the photo to remember this afternoon, today’s fishing photo! So, aquariums out, lights on, and... say cheese and smiiile!

Observing our fish collection in the museum, I say goodbye to this blog entry. Without a doubt, these were my best photos from a peaceful afternoon of fishing on my Animal Crossing island, a moment to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery that nature offers us, along with the autumn and winter colors. I hope you enjoyed my photographs. From here, as always, I send you a big greeting, the best of luck 🍀 and many, many successes.
