Caracola - Entry for the Reflection Hunters Contest [ENG/ESP]

Hello friends and Shadow Hunters community, I hope you’re having a lovely day. I’m satisfied and happy with the photos and results from the previous round, so of course I couldn’t miss participating in this one. I also took a photo that I really loved.

The photograph I’m sharing with you today was taken inside my room, right on my desk. Little by little, I’ve set up a small mini‑studio to photograph small objects using just a bit of fabric and a single light. This allowed me to create the dark atmosphere needed for the photo you see here. As subjects, I used a seashell and a bit of sand, and I placed a mirror underneath to achieve the reflection and evoke the feeling of water. Once everything was set, I simply turned off my phone’s autofocus and took several shots until I ended up with this one, my favorite. I think I’ve improved a lot in photography since joining the community, as it’s a topic that has always interested me, and I try to make each post and each photo better in quality. The moral is: you don’t need much to take a good photo, not even a great camera. With a bit of imagination, you can achieve many results, the only limit is your creativity.
I hope you enjoyed this photograph. As always, I encourage you to participate in the community and to stay attentive throughout the week to shadows and reflections, and if you don’t find them, create your own. Wishing you all the success and luck in the world. Bye bye!
Chau chau.
