Warborn Chieftain -Splinterlands Art Contest Week 337

IMG 15.jpg

hi!
I am very excited to participate in the Splinterlands Art Contest for Week 337! This week, I am submitting my hand-drawn watercolor painting of Warborn Chieftain, a fanart piece inspired by a Splinterlands card.

Gimnash Krimgur is the formidable chieftain of the Warborn Tribe, one of the twelve orcish tribes that form the Duratuk Nation, located in the Northern Highlands of the Central Fire. Fierce, battle-hardened, and revered by his people, he wields his mighty axe with unparalleled strength, leading his warriors into battle with unbreakable resolve.

I had a great time creating this artwork and bringing this powerful warrior to life with watercolors. I hope you all like it!

Gimnash Krimgur is the chieftain of the Warborn Tribe, one of twelve orcish tribes that comprise the Duratuk Nation in the Central Fire’s Northern Highlands. He leads his warriors in raids against neighboring settlements, taking prisoners and plunder. In the past, these prisoners were used as slaves and fodder for gladiatorial sport.

But now that the Elemental Fists have bowed to the Chaos Empire, most plunder is sequestered by the kalamenty of Torvingor—prisoners to serve as conscripts in their legions and resources to fuel the empire’s tyrannical reign.

Gimnash yearns for the day when he can take back what is rightfully his… and maybe the kalamenty’s command and staff to serve as gladiators to fight and die for his amusement, as well.
