[Writing Contest] Finish the Tale. Story #50 An unidentified call

Greetings dear Hiveans and members of the #ecencysupport team.

The old phone rang for the first time in 50 years, and the caller asked for someone who had never been born

It was a usual busy morning and everything was fine until morning. The routine went on as normal with everyone getting ready for school and office, while suddenly an antique gadget from faraway, gave a beep sound.

All eyes suddenly went to the gadget which was placed on top of a closed cupboard fixed to the wall, where all rusted and old items were stored.

And the oldest amongst the family member was a 75 year old granny who all of a sudden gave a jerk in her rocking chair, where she was resting. It was quite evident from her face that the call has disturbed her whole day.

Just a beep sound never disturbed the other members of the family, except the granny. The very next day, the granny was adamant to recharge the phone. Once it was done, the phone was placed in her room.

Evening when all were getting ready over dinner, the phone rang again and this tine it was non stop. The granny immediately took the phone, while the rest of the family were waiting to hear from the caller.

After a few minutes of silence, the caller asked an information which shocked the granny. With a moment of shock, she dropped the phone and sat in a nearby chair with fear. Her son who was observing all this asked her for the reason and she said he was asking about Alan.

Alan was the name, decided by her best friend and her husband, for her yet to born, new born child. This was 50 years before. But due to a miscarriage she lost the child. And now, the caller was curious to know all about Alan.

This shocked the entire family and the mystery continues as to who was the caller...
