The respect I earned from my profession is the proudest moment. I sticked on to my rules to be faithful. And for that Iam grateful to my parents.

Besides my job as a librarian, I was in charge of the Admission test from lower grade to upper grade. Ours being a prestigious Institution, we had ample number of Admission Admission queries. On one such occasion, I was offered a gadget in return for an admission test paper. I happened to get this offer though one of the teacher, appointed for conducting the test. As she was a colleague of mine I warned her against this matter. From then on she never came to me and even hesitated to face me.

On one side, there were too many able students who were in waiting list and on the contrary we had people who just for the sake of admission wished to get admitted through indirect means.

Another issue that made me proud was a praise from my strict Principal. Our school has sister concerns all over middle east. And ours being a renowned one with a large library, all bulk purchases of enlisted books was purchased to our library. After further classification they are been shared with sister concerns.

On one such occasion an issue was raised against two sister concern schools. One saying we did not receive the books while the other, our institution, has already issued to them, with a signed initial from them, against the bill. And luckily, as a librarian I save the bill of each and every transaction of books from ours to the sister concerns.

Story cut short - I was able to produce the signed bills inbetween lot of chaos . And my Principal appreciated me for the timely effort.

Most often though our work go noticed, somewhere in the corner, an appreciation awaits us, from a deserved person, for our hard earned work.
