What’s one big decision you made recently that changed something in your life?

Iam already in my early 50's. Now that my children are grown up , put up in jobs of their choice and are independent, I really wish to give time for myself. Basically, Iam an introvert person who enjoyed to be indoors, but now I broke those barriers.

Rarely did I ever get a chance to take time for myself to do what I wish to. Be it an outing with my own family, or catching up with friends, or doing what I like to. My life was programmed with my job, meetings, housechores, kids education, my husband's busy schedule of untimely hours in job etc., but no regrets because it was a real challenge. Looking back Iam extremely happy. Now my children force me to do what I need to.

When I was young and a school going student I used to hear from my near and dear ones, we are already in our 50's and its time for us to rest. But today the scenario changed, when ladies used to clog on to their comfort zone.

People have become more conscious of their health and wealth. Age is not a barrier. Though our body aches, our mind is rather prepared for a wonderful outing.

A meet up after 30 years

Infact, true to my words we visited many places once my children started their college. A lovely experience to say. Somewhere I felt the me time. Doing what I love to. I was even excited to mèet my old school friends after a gap f 30 years.A once in blue moon meet.

With my cousin. An unforgettable me time

I recently, along with my cousin, went for a short outing and had a wonderful time doing all kids stuff. We just sat on the pavement of a bridge counting the number of cars and buses. In a place, away from the visibility of passers-by we screamed our name. That was a wonderful experience.

Now, this was a great decision for me to move out from my comfort zone and experience the unexpected, with the support of my husband and children.

Infact its a great change in me. I learnt great lessons from each journey and had a positive approach towards life, which I am experiencing right now
