VIBES Web 3 Music Competition - Week 36 "AUN ESPERO" Original Song

Hi everyone 🌿

My name is Shadia Hasmy, and this is my very first time participating in the Vibes Web3 Music Competition.
I’m a little nervous, but also really excited to share something meaningful with you through my music.

The song I’m presenting is called “AÚN ESPERO/Still waiting” — it’s an original piece I wrote some time ago, and it captures a very personal moment in my life.

About the song...

“AÚN ESPERO” (“Still Waiting”) is about those conversations that never happened, about the words that hung in the air after someone leaves.
It’s a simple song, but it comes from a real place.

A little about me

I’m from Venezuela — a singer and songwriter — and right now I work with a band of musicians who also believe in this project.
I’m still new to sharing my music on platforms like this, but I’m learning and enjoying the journey.

I like to write from what I live, from what I feel.
I’m not trying to impress — just to tell stories, and hopefully accompany someone who might need them.

Hola a todos!

Mi nombre es Shadia Hasmy y esta es la primera vez que participo en la Vibes Web3 Music Competition.
Estoy un poquito nerviosa pero también muy emocionada de compartir con ustedes una parte importante de mí a través de mi música.

La canción que les traigo se llama “AÚN ESPERO”, es un tema original que escribí hace un tiempo y que representa un momento muy personal en mi camino.

Sobre la canción...

“AÚN ESPERO” habla de esas conversaciones que nunca se dieron, de lo que quedó en el aire cuando alguien se va. Es una canción sencilla, pero escrita desde un lugar real.

Un poco sobre mí

Soy de Venezuela, cantante y compositora, y actualmente trabajo junto a una banda de músicos que también creen en este proyecto. No llevo mucho tiempo compartiendo mi música en plataformas como esta, pero estoy aprendiendo y disfrutando del proceso.

Me gusta escribir desde lo que vivo, desde lo que siento. No busco impresionar, solo contar historias y ojalá acompañar a alguien que las necesite.

De verdad agradezco este espacio y la oportunidad de participar. Me parece valiosísimo que existan comunidades como Vibes, donde la música independiente puede tener una voz y donde todos estamos aquí para compartir, no para competir.
