Stellar Blade - An Interesting Secondary Boss and a Great Main Boss [ENG/ESP]
The last day I finished the chapter by entering this kind of subway structure. The game has become a kind of survival horror, since in this part we can't attack melee, we can only use our drone as a firearm. Besides that the whole environment will also have a tone of horror, even the enemies will come out without warning trying to give us a scare.
I continued advancing through this area and came to a curious puzzle; I had to go through some platforms that had the icon of PlayStation buttons. It was necessary to follow an order, if we skipped it the platforms broke and we fell to the emptiness.
After overcoming the puzzle I arrived at a specimen room. Here we had to reflect some lasers all over the area. By doing so we will get a fusion cell that will allow us to open the door to continue.
Then I got to a kind of quadrangle where I was locked in with lasers. Here enemies will start arriving and we will have to kill them all to make the lasers disappear. All this only with our drone, although luckily I have spent some resources to improve it, so eliminating the enemies was not very difficult.
Once we get past the quadrangle we will continue to go deeper into this area. I must say that the setting here is incredible, there are several moments where the mysterious/dark atmosphere is very well achieved, with the walls full of blood and remains of monsters around.
When I finally reached the deepest part of this area, there was a big monster in the center of the room, called "The Heart of Infection". This is what is causing the areas to be filled with enemies and traces of putrid skin. We will face him and something curious is that we will still not be able to use our weapons, we will have to defeat him with the drone shooting him.
The combat, although simple, is quite fun. It reminded me of some bosses in games like Resident Evil, where you have to aim and shoot at the weak parts of the enemies, which in this case will be some yellow balls that will sprout from his body. The boss will spit balls at us as projectiles, in addition to having some other area ability that we must avoid.
When we defeat him we will recover the hypercell and we will be able to return. Although EVE will realize that there is a legacy in this area. Legacies are recordings that warriors like EVE leave to report the situation.
The legacy reveals that, before the current war between humanity and the Naytibas, there was another conflict: the "true humanity" against their androids. Humanity lost against its creation. However, when the androids were about to wipe out all humans, the Naytibas appeared. This caused the androids to focus on fighting them, allowing humanity to escape. No one knew this information, which causes EVE to question why it is not taught in her colony, where androids like her are created, implying that perhaps the "good guys" might not be so good.
With the legacy and the hypercell recovered, we will return to the city to report back to Orcal. In addition to thanking us, he will hold up his end of the bargain and give us the location of another Alpha Naytiba. Let's remember that we need alpha cores to be able to access the Naytibas nest. Now that we know where the next one is, we can head straight to that new area.
Although before continuing with the main plot I was exploring the city a bit, as new side quests came out. I will not stop to talk about all of them because many were simple, what I will say is that I was surprised that the game had backtracking, as several missions will make us return to the area already explored to complete them. Among the most relevant secondary missions, there is one that sent us to investigate a forbidden area. It was a large crater and, when you go down and get to the bottom, a large monster will appear. Curiously, it is the same type of monster we faced when the game starts.
I liked the combat a lot, especially for the difficulty, because although I wouldn't classify it as "difficult", it was above all the bosses I've faced, it even made me spend several heals for failing some parrys, which made it feel more exciting and fun. Defeating him will give us upgrade materials and we will have completed the mission.
But well, after completing a couple more secondaries, I decided to follow the main story, I headed to the ship and set course to the area that Orcal told us. Upon arrival, we'll see that it's an abandoned subway station. The lighting in the game here is also great, especially inside the old trains.
In this station we will encounter a new type of enemy. It will be a Naytiba with tentacles that can embed itself in corpses to control them. This whole area will be full of this type of enemy.
Another enemy that we will see a lot around here will be one that normally blocks the path, a kind of amorphous mass that we must destroy to move forward.
When we finally reach the end of the abandoned train station, we will find the ruins of an old collapsed bridge. In order to advance, we will have to reach the top of these ruins. We will climb up using the old hanging trains, while the camera is strategically positioned behind our backs with a bottom-up approach.
As we reach the highest point, we will see a camp and a road going up. It was obvious that a major fight was coming, so, before moving on, I rested at the camp and spent some skill points.
As we go up, we will reach an open field where a new enemy will appear. His codename is: The Stalker. I like that this boss has a different appearance from the rest, I was afraid that the important enemies would repeat themselves.
This was one of the boss fights I liked the most so far in the game. Mostly because it felt like a real boss; he's fast and will harass you with his moves. Missing a parry or two can mean taking several hits.
Finally we will defeat him in a spectacular sequence that is too long to show in full haha. When we defeat him we will get as a reward a new mechanic: the explosive skills. Basically, they are very powerful skills that consume explosive charge, which we get by dodging or doing parrys. After defeating the boss I returned to the camp to rest and save the game. Good moment to finish today's chapter. Hopefully from now on the game keeps the level of bosses equal to this one or even higher.

Drone as a firearm in the subway? 🤯 Sounds like a wild ride! Can't wait to see the main boss. 👍
This section of the game was scary as hell. Plus I kept dying from the geometry puzzle level because I couldn't jump right.
At the beginning of the dark section I thought: I don't think it's that big a deal. But after advancing a bit, I jumped a little because one of the enemies was waiting for me behind a wall and gave me a good scare haha
I thought the behind the wall enemy would get old, this one really spiced things up around.
Subways scenes are always scary, I like the constant action of the game and by the way this boss seems kind of hard
All the giphys are so perfectly timed especially the preview one 👏👏👏. Graphics are so high that my phone started lagging 🥲. The final blow stalker had is so smooth 😶.
That's why I try not to go overboard with gifs in the posts haha, so they don't feel too heavy. But with this game it's hard, it has so many good moments that I want to share as many as I can 😅
It looks incredible now, with all the action in the game unlike the previous post. I love the GIFs. What program do you use to make them? It seems the game has very fluid combat, in addition to what you mentioned. Thanks for share!
For gifs I use photoshop 🖐
The creatures in this video game are totally strange, one of them reminded me of the ones that appear in Dead Space, and the graphics in this game are totally good.
Good!
I liked the graphics, they look pretty good. I hadn't heard of this game until now.

Is the storyline good? I am still thinking about buying this game or not. 😅
Personally, it's not a game that shines for its story. I'm not finding it a bad story, but it's not life changing either, it's just okay, enjoyable. It has its exciting moments. For me the strong point is the combat
I see, thank you for the feed back. Then I will wait until it has sales price then maybe I will buy it, :))
Tremendous fight, my friend, every challenge is very exciting.
The atmosphere of the game is spectacular, I didn't know it had areas with a terrifying atmosphere.
